So, did no one in the entire neighborhood have a garden hose? My first response has been, in the past, and would have been, in this case, to grab a hose and start spraying the fire until the fire department got there. I've done this like four times in the past, with structure fires, grass fires and a hay bail fire. It seems people are just clueless these days!
That alarmed fire protecter is probably there because they do not want someone with dementia to pull the alarm and cause a major evacuation involving health risk
The point of the video was as slow coming as the firemen were in putting out the fire. None of them seemed to be in a hurry, they just moseyed along, bringing out the hoses, getting things ready. What's up with that?
You are amazing!!! I was searching for a compatible smoke detector " FIRST ALERT SC9120B Corded Electric Combination Alarm. I ordered the above twice and received it with an Expired date " 2023 Dec 28". I will view your video again to note the model you used that came with an adapter. Mine has a three pin.
Literally the best thing I ever saw !!! A genuine informational masterpiece delivered with all the precision of the 8 track and the technological wonder you would only expect from 1970s dupont , the same people who brought you lead gas and ddt pesticide , the narrator should get the Nobel price for killing it !!!!!!
You should. Really? Cut the video down because it takes all until 25 minutes for it. To even show anything who wants to sit. Waiting for 25 minutes. Watching nothing trim the video down. It's so too long for watching nothing. It doesn't even start until 25;25 Leaving sixteen minutes of actual footage
These are designed so poorly. How many people just live without them because they do nothing but chirp and go off randomly? The poor design, that they cannot easily be reset and silenced, costs lives
The newest ones are much better... Using photoelectric sensor rather than the ionizing type. Technology Connections has a good video explaining the sensor types.
Hi sir I have a question about the smoke detector in my house this is my first time to hear beefing every minute and its annoying and I’m scared I didn’t not know where to remove the battery
Thank you for explaining in detail along with demonstrating how to switch out s/cm detector. Very helpful to a new homeowner. Even the added tip of how to dispose of batteries.
I am so glad I found this, specifically the part about the existence of adapters! I did not know that was possible, and was worried I would need to do re-wiring when replacing my old detectors. Hopefully I won't have to re-wire!
