Such beautiful creatures. Dogs are full of love and loyalty. And the love is unconditional. I pray all these dogs, and the other dear creatures here, find loving human friends. Thank you to those kind hearts who care for them and are faithful to them, and will not let them down.
My father from West Lahern Used to sing the valley of Knockanure he was IRA All the way He was born in The 1890 I think He died when I was 8 He was a lovely. singer he went to England to work He was a Taylor so I think the Work outside in the Bad weather made him sick I never saw him with a heavy coat but I only saw him when he came home in the Summer It wfas a hard life when he lived to work in England He came home and never went back to England. Soon he died He had ulcer I think he wouldn’t let us be born in England we were born in Kerry
DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY: There was a huge attendance at the annual Divine Mercy Services in Abbeyfeale last Sunday, they came from all three counties and probably further afield. The Devotions were started by the late Canon Neville and the late Sheila O’Connell Kinconlea and have grown in popularity every year. There was a special announcement at the end of the service - the weekly Divine Mercy prayer group will resume meeting after the 7pm Mass from next Monday - Covid had put an end to the prayer group three years ago and it was great news to hear that they intended to start up again. New members are always welcome.
