I watched this on x2 and was well worth the 30mins fly through. The fact that your 2016 content is STILL SO HIGHLY RELEVANT today is a testament to your expertise and ability to present in cohesive, understandable, and meaningful way. Many thanks for sharing great content for us Drupal beginners. 🙏🙏

Good. We should not use much of custom content blocks. In my application scenarios, got difficult to use with integration with views. So it is always better to create block type and add content will be good approach to extend further. Better approach is layout paragraphs

There's a module called Layout Paragraphs that links the two (you can create layout sections and put paragraphs in them).

Thanks a lot… I discover how to make this layout builder active inside content type. I come from drupal 6 and 7 and I have in the last 10 years the whole layout inside html source ode in every single page (over 1000 pages) Must I delete all pages and create every singe page brandnew like you show this? This needs 3 years time… or can I build this layout for one content type and bulk… I mean is this layout in all content, creates with a content type automaticly? It seems I can not use my drupal 7 content in drupal 9 and I loose 10 years of my whole piano live work… I very sad about this… for drupal beginner this is very fine… layout builder. Thank you for your video…

Well I do that but only because I found my way back into development. I just want to "suck in" every basic knowledge about web-dev because I want to make sure i REALLY get the understanding right. But I catch myself more and more looking for templating engines, CMS's, preprocessors for CSS like SASS and so on. Man I get excited just by thinking about all the possibilities!
