This season is so trash. Those backpack turrets combined with the jet packs are the cheesiest thing they’ve ever added to this game. It’s not even skill based anymore.
Could Stone Cold and the Rock do promotions back stage stuff without ever taking it to the ring? Both men have a ton of charisma but are grandfather age and like you said, Austin needs someone who can realistically carry him in the ring. Yeah, he can sell it in a movie, which by the way are not too bad, but in the ring there's no second takes. However, the two of them do have chemistry. So put Austin in an announcer type position. He's too volatile for a manager position but maybe something behind the curtain? Just a thought. As for the Rock not wanting to go against Reigns, who knows? A tag team can be easier on a guy who isn't quite got the rust off of him. Maybe they thought this would sell better. As to a power struggle, uh that's always a possible storyline in the McMahon legacy back to the first time they interjected themselves into the dynamic. But it's got to be a work if anything. I always thought the Triple H and Stephanie marriage was for the show but I was wrong. Obviously. I can't imagine they would allow anything to threaten the hammerlock they have on top tier wrestling promotion. Nothing else rivals them now. It's not like when I was a kid and there was a promotion in every region as big as the next. Now there's the local 'fairground' beat and WWE. Anyway, thanks for the commentary, I love wrestling and watch it off and on. Not obsessively like when I was a kid or my kids were kids. But it's fun to catch up on sometimes.
Oh, how mad I get about the slander that escapes Jeremy's mouth. His quick testing a new gun, missing most of his shots and then abandoning the gun because the gun "sucks" when he's missing with it drives me nuts. The Aug is still awesome Jeremy. I hit most of my shots with it unlike you, even without a scope. Without a scope, I can hit a target 100-150 meters away and then with a scope, I'll hit them 300 meters away. It just requires precise aiming which you don't have. Instead of waving the reticle everywhere on anything but your target and then missing 80% of your shots, keep that reticle steady on the enemy Jeremy. Don't even get me started on him liking the horrible Hyper smg that has a terrible spread, making you use up more of your ammo than any other smg without even hitting your mark. Pick up the micro smgs that Snake Eyes actually uses instead. They're more accurate and have higher dps. You can thank me later!
Despite my thoughts and criticisms towards team G and G hating season 3 and going through a honeymoon period with this season, I do appreciate not hearing the baseless hateful rhetoric towards Fortnite and that you guys enjoying the game again. This was a fun stream to watch.
What I mean by baseless hateful rhetoric is that you guys were judging the season too quick and did not give season 3 a full chance(thanks to Ninja for the court of public opinion on this) to fully experience everything about it. I always say that you don't know and experience a Fortnite season without playing at least 100 matches. Judging something quickly can often lead you to having an inexperienced opinion without trying everything to it's fullest potential. This is what I do with every season. I go with a versatility and adaptive approach to every season at the beginning. That's what I'll do for this season. I'm glad to see you guys going with this approach during the stream as well.
While this season is very fun, but I think even a very fun marvel season can't replicate my experience with season 3. You guys can pretend that season 3 that had a Mad max/Fallout/Twisted Metal theme sucked. You guys can pretend that vehicles weren't fun. You guys can pretend that driving at 100 mph with weapons on cars weren't fun. You guys can pretend the combat shotgun, tactical ar and huntress dmr weren't great guns to use but you guys can't deny that season 3 had way better mobility with vehicles, nitro fists and the combination of nitro and flowberry fizz plus the boost rings. You could jump 100-200 meters with multiple jumps in 10-20 seconds. Season 3's mobility is unparalled and unmatched even with the Shockwave Hammer and Kinetic Blade in consideration of Fortnite's mobility. War machine's jetpack is cool and unique. Maybe the Marvel weaponry and the original guns will grow on me this season. I do understand you guys didn't have a good experience with season 3 but I had an awesome experience utilizing everything(I mean EVERYTHING, not just vehicles) the season had to offer. I wasn't the only one that loved the season and will miss it dearly. I and many others wanted it to keep going. The amount of content in it was insane throughout the entirety of the season. In one years time, season 3 of Fortnite's Chapter 5 will get the respect it deserves just like how Jeremy mentioned the Shockwave Hammer and how he misses it a year later after admitting he hated it at the time. The only advantage this season is that it has a more balanced loot pool over last season because some sweats complained at the beginning of the season, Epic games capitulated and obliged their opinions. Last season was much harder to get wins and thus everyone hates the season because of that. If everyone can get easy wins, they like the season more. Starting to see the reason why Fortnite players hated the previous seasons of Chapter 5? Fortnite players love the guaranteed wins for the dopamine hit instead of earning their wins through an adverse, difficult match. No one will ever admit this but it's obvious to me at this point. I love it when I have to earn my wins in Fortnite. That's when Fortnite feels like an actual game to me, instead of it coddling me. I guess the G and G team likes to be coddled but that's their preference, not mine. I apologize for the long message. I'm a writer who thinks of endless thoughts and have to put them down somewhere instead of keeping it in my head. I appreciate those who read all of it.
