I bought 2 controls in the last 2 years , reason they always break at the lid to change the batterie, very poor quality plastics . Would not buy one ever again , control my cochlear from the phone .

There is a specific screwdriver that comes with our remotes to properly fit the small screw on the back of the remote. Are you still using that? If the Mini Mic 2+ is paired with your Nucleus 8 processor the Mini Mic will be listed in the 'Audio Sources' section of the Nucleus Smart app. If it is not listed there, either the Mini Mic is not paired with your Nucleus 8, or the Nucleus 8 is not paired with the app. We are happy to help you set this up. ¡Gran pregunta Sebastian! Sí, el procesador de sonido Osia es capaz de transmitir directamente a su teléfono móvil mediante Bluetooth. Puede hablar por teléfono, escuchar música y ver vídeos o películas, todo directamente en el dispositivo.

Hola 👋 Pero mi duda puntual se enmarca dentro del siguiente contexto: En el día a día suelo escuchar musica mediante audífonos Bluetooth ( de los que se usan comúnmente hoy día para el celular) Si me coloco el implante coclear en el oído izquierdo, puedo usar un audífono Bluetooth en el oído derecho y el implante osia para escuchar musica al mismo tiempo en ambos oídos ? Es decir puedo transmitir música al implante coclear y al audífono común del oído derecho, para escuchar musica? O en caso de querer escuchar musica solo la podré escuchar por el lado izquierdo que es donde tendria el implante?

Hi, i have a small question, how to pair and connect it with kanso 2 without mobile ?? I gave the mic to my son's teacher and when she is away it automatically disconnects , i dont know how to connect it without mobile.please help

Hello @Games_canbe_funny, You'll still be able to pair the Mini Microphone to the Kanso 2 without a mobile phone. To activate streaming, you can also use a CR310 remote control. Having glasses makes most of the different options hard to use. The earmold and clip work great. If you’re active, this is the best option, so consider that if you have problems with processor falling off.

Hello @fywang9, I understand you're wanting to know how to use different plugs in your wall adapter. You'll need to go through your additional plug options and select the plug that best fits the outlets in the country you're traveling to. To switch them out, you'll remove the current plug by pushing upwards on the plug, it should then pop out of the adapter, take the new plug, and push it downward into the adapter. Make sure it clicks into place. If you'd like, you can also call us and we can walk you through these steps with a system called Virtual Assist. My Cochlear CP1110 has been working really well for a year. Now I cannot get it to pair with my Apple phone - the one it has worked with all along. I followed the pairing instructions and when I got to the point where I selected "pair" the next thing I see is a continuously spinning wheel. It has been several minutes and it is still spinning.

I understand that your Nucleus 8 is having issues connecting with your iPhone and the Nucleus Smart App. Can you confirm the devices are showing connected under the Made for iPhone settings under Settings>Accessibility>Hearing Devices? Nora is born with profound 🧐 hearing loss. There are four 4️⃣ separate types of hearing loss is mild, moderate, severe and finally profound 🧐. I was born with moderate hearing loss is 60%. I wear two 2️⃣ hearing aids 🦻 🦻 everyday since 1980 is 44 previous years ago in 2024. By six 6️⃣ years time 🕰️, it’s 2030 that I’ll be aged 53 to 54 years old if I can 👌 make it that I’ve worn hearing aids 🦻🦻 for 50 years. I have deaf 🧏 🧏‍♀️ 🧏‍♂️ is the worse on my left ear 👂 than the right ear 👂. When I go to sleep 🛌 😴 💤 in bed 🛌, have a wash 🧼 🧽 and finally perhaps 🤔 go swimming 🏊 🏊‍♀️ 🏊‍♂️ , I don’t wear hearing aids 🦻 🦻 is because the hearing aids 🦻 🦻 can be severely damaged by the water 💦 🚿 💧 and it can 👌 be my fault 🤦 🤦‍♀️ 🤦‍♂️ and I’m not joking 🙃. All hearing aids 🦻 🦻 have a small battery 🔋 🪫 that has a around best before date 📅 📆 is three 3️⃣ years and I recycle ♻️ the batteries 🪫 🔋 in a battery 🔋 🪫 bin 🚮 🗑️ at the supermarket shop 🏬 is Tesco and perhaps 🤔 other types of shops 🏬. I honestly don’t have wax in my ears 👂 👂 and never 👎 place any cotton wool buds in my ear 👂 canal is because it can seriously 😦 😟 😧 push the wax into the ear 👂 canal and I’m not joking 🙃. My hearing sounds go up 📈 and down everyday. When I cross ❌ ❎ the roads 🛣️ 🛣️ 🛣️ , I always stop 🛑, look 👀 and finally listen 🎧 👂 to oncoming vehicles 🚗 in a traffic so I don’t end up 🔝 ⬆️ 🆙 being run 🏃‍♀️ over and it could perhaps 🤔 serve me right. Also there are traffic lights 🚥 🚦 at the crossing as well. When the traffic lights 🚥 🚦 are green 🟩 , freeze 🥶 in one 1️⃣ ☝️ place until it goes orange 🟧 is to get ready to cross ❌ ❎ the road 🛣️ and finally when it turns red 🟥 , cross ❎ ❌ the road 🛣️ and it’s safe. 👍 😄 😀

As legacy BAHA user of 25+ years I'm wondering about the expected lifespan of the internal transducer implant. Would it require changing (and additional surgeries) at some point after decade or two of use?

The desiccant lowers the humidity and captures the moisture released during the drying cycle.
