They burn because the OEM connectors were a bit under engineered and over time start overheating due to oxidation and resistive heating on the high amperage wiring to the fan motor. Good you caught it, but taped connections are likely going to fail in short order. You should really either use good crimped butt connectors or solder, before covering with heat shrink.
Recently did my vvt solenoids but I keep getting p0012 worried its timing chain but I didn't even think of the camshaft sensors! I'm going to try this before getting it diagnosed by the pros at Toyota! Praying this is all I need, I don't have any chatter from the chain I don't think so I hoping this is all it is!
Thank you for this video ! Will be setting up my pool here in a sec ! This video was helpful .. I hope it takes 1 hr and 10 minutes to fill up for me !! We’re ready to enjoy !
Replaced my cover today on my 06 Duramax. 14 bolts took 4 hours. Total job 7 hrs. Bolt heads were so corroded there was nothing to grab on and loosen. Had to grind the flange off for more clamping space. New cover and bolts look good.
I refilled my 05 yukon t-case after 52 ounces leaked out. It holds 64 ounces total. I ran out of auto trak fluid after 26 ounces and made a mix of 50/50 merc3 atf to 10w30 motor oil for the rest. So far so good. I understand any ATF is fine. I put a little oil to add to lubrication since it ran short for an unknown time period.
Well done. I've bought many similar battery tire inflators (top-selling brands on Amazon), and I've been scammed by poor-quality products a lot. To prevent more people from being deceived, I've recently been making these kinds of videos. There are many poor-quality inflators, and this brand is clearly one of the low-quality and inefficient ones. From my tests, the two models from LASFIT AIR are the most efficient.
I had a car that came with a pump and some sealing agent (no spare) My one thing I would y have done differently, would be to raise that tire up in the air and keep the weight of the car off it. I feel as though, in theory, that device and similar devices, such as this one in the video, may perform better
How does yours change so much and so fast? My 08 fluctuates from 16.5 to 16.6 of 16.7 after I spend an hour or 2 driving highway across state on weekends but once I'm back in town-only for the work week it either doesn't drop back down to 16.5 or it takes a day or 2. Is mine broken?
@@SebastianAlmeda I actually realized there's a "reset" button next to the screen that shows the mpg, time and temp, and I figure it must be for the mpg, so a few mornings ago I held that and it reset the mpg to 0. I did this right before getting on the pike to come home from my wknd bf trip, and immediately saw the count shifting much more immediately - by the end of the trip it settled around 22mpg.... (a HUGE change from the 8mpg I was getting with my last junker, an 05 pilot with a flashing CEL 🤣🤣). That was a few days ago, I forgot to look to see if a few days of city driving has changed it much, but I did get a bit more confirmation that I have in fact been getting more than 16.5mpg according to my method of only filling a full tank when my light goes on and tracking how many miles per full tank I get so I can manually calculate my mpg (the method I learned with my first suv, an 00 blazer, and kept up with all my old cars since). This is my first truck to have a digital mpg readout and I haven't wanted to rely on it. I've only had this truck a few months and haven't explored everything in it but now that summer is coming it's time to get ready for camp season
I have a 2011 Mazda cx-9, and my tires take 34 psi. Would this unit work fine with my vehicle? I see they have a small version of this, but I like this one better.
This unit would work perfect for your vehicle. My tires are a lot bigger than a normal cars and trucks and it did it in a reasonable time for a portable air inflator
@@SebastianAlmeda thank you for the quick response. I was worried because I wasn't sure if I needed to get the smaller one instead, because like I stated before I like this version much better. I'll probably order it tomorrow. Great video by the way.
I don't think there is a pilot bearing on an engine with an automatic transmission unless one was installed if a manual swap was completed. When you guys got the car back from the shop, was the manual trans installed?
Why don't you have leds in your running boards? Is it a grade thing? have a 215 Hilux Surf, when I unlock it or open the doors the running board leds turn on. I wanna take them off for weight reduction but the leds are so useful at night!
I have a 2.5" lift with 285's and I just drilled a small hole on the inside of the mudflap where it rubbed and used a zap strap to sinch it back towards the body mount. Gave more than enough clearance and allowed me to keep my mud flaps on. Also definitely don't cut the fender liners. Totally not necessary and just allows more crap to fly up inside the wheel well. All you have to do is un-fasten the front fasteners and push the liner forward a few inches, then you can just drill a small hole further forward in the bumper cover and re-fasten the liner to it. Takes a few minutes and gives tons of room.
