Good video windseeker and information, I just was wondering about the harbor freight jack, did you have to modify it where it makes contact with the engine, and if so, can you show us what you did? Thanks!
Nope! No mods needed, my friend! Just make sure you're raising it up on the flat bottom part of the motor, and you will be good to go! Thanks for watching! 😎👍
How You Doing Windrider, VERY HELPFUL Videos. About to Try to Replace My Front Brakes on My 2019 Indian Cheiftan. Question? Where Did You Get You Inside Fairing Light From, the One with the LED Light and Turn Signals From???
Yessir! I was disappointed in that rear Metzeler. That front one is still going strong and is like new! Go figure! So I will be seeing what I get out of this Bridgestone for now. I heard the Michelin Commander 3 is pretty solid too. 😎👍
@@gettinsomewind6384 well just bought the bike with eight thousand mile on bike Metzler on front was all cupped had them on my Yamaha Raider as well same experience garbage I have cobra’s on the raider now there’s another great tire
I hear ya! It's also worth noting that it also depends on the rider's handling of the bike. Proper air pressure fails a lot of tires as well. If you notice my Metzeler front tire in the beginning of the video, you will see the great condition it's in. Nonetheless, I still won't be using the Metzeler brand in the future.@@user-mt2gu2mm6c
I had a Triumph street triple before I got my Indian FTR. I used to love the induction sound. I whistling sound done right was a thing of beauty to your ears.
@@gettinsomewind6384 When it comes to the Frame bolts I will find the torque specs. Good video it does help. My bike is a 2020 Indian Chief Dark Horse.
Man! Sadie can surely be heard now! WOW what a difference. Thanks for the helpful info my friend ✊😎 I honestly thought at first it was gonna be a set of big truck horns you was installing 😜😜😜
Great video…I’ve seen videos from others who say you just need to remove the pin, pull out old pads, and then put new pads in. It’s not that simple. From someone who has worked on cars and motorcycles for years…you have to remove the caliper, inspect it, press the pistons back in, and then reinstall the pads…just like you did. Great job.
I think the tip on plug changing is great. Good plan to have the magnet for sure thing for those of us with sausage fingers. That’s a working man’s thing.
If you’re changing your oil at 30k or 20k miles you will be replacing your engine. Every 5,000 miles as the bike requires is the best way to keep your engine. Thanks for reminding me to change my plugs I’m at 33k with the original plugs and just changed my oil at 5,008 miles
The chart showed every 5k for your oil. I was at the 25k mark on my oil at the time of my changing the plugs, so I did them both. I apologize if I caused any misunderstandings. You better believe Sadie won't have me treating her badly lol😎
@@gettinsomewind6384 oh I know you treat her well I just changed my plugs from stock ngk to the ngk iridium’s. At 33k on the original plugs they weren’t to bad over all but I did see a decrease in power performance and mpg until I changed them out. The computer freaked out for a moment but it fixed itself by realizing it had fresh plugs. Cinnamon and I ride again with a smile. Glad you made the video it helped me save time money and gave me a easier way to do the job one thing that helped me was the spark plug socket had the rubber grip in side to pull the old plugs out but had to remove the rubber to put in the new. Ride hard ride safe.
Yeah, i have the custom dynamics smart triple play and signal lights for my Indian Roadmaster. I think they look great and the cars seem to notice the flashing sequence and tend to stay a ways back when I'm on the brakes.
U do what u do bro! I got the same Dynojet Powervision 3, Indian Stage 2 cams, Tab Performance cat delete 2 in 1 header pipe and exhaust muffler all in a 2019 Chieftain Darkhorse 111ci Thunder stroke. This bitch bangs!
I run a Bridgestone - Ecopia ep422 plus 205/55 r17 h (91) on the rear of my Dyna .. Last tire gave me 83 thousand miles !!! Not counting the safety upgrades !!! 😀
Windseeker - you have been the MOST helpful rider and I'd appreciate if you would do the brake job video. I have a 2017 Roadmaster and you inspired me to swap my own clutch.
Thanks for the video. I have the same air intake I had installed on my Super Chief Limited, Stage 1 only, with third party slip-ons. Mine has no whistling noise that I've ever detected. I thought that whistling was actually desired by most people.
Appreciated..but easiest way to face this misconstrucion: just pull out the cable and insert a new one. Obvious the mantle remains the same, no problem!
