Tucson-based movie critic with Tourette's Syndrome with weekly content. Welcome to my official RU-vid channel! Where I share my personal thoughts on movies, drop my own original films, occasionally talk about video games, and get real.
Whatever interests you through the channel, whatever the heck about it brings you here, thank you. A lot goes on here. RU-vid is weird as hell. I suck at editing. Cheers. 🍻
i couldn't play that game, seems difficult and silence just trigger my anxiety level, i know irl i could beat those monsters but not the game lmao and yes btw to sleep i need the sound of the fan or some audiobook bc otherwise, i can't =0
cool bro. i never saw smile bc the trailer looked tacky and cheap to me like the jumpscare scene. i'm listening in another video the movie resume and explanation. it looks like it follow but instead of s3x is trauma. it follows is one of my top 5 in my life. if it follows touched the trauma thing instead of s3x that would be fing amazing, but for now smile it's still a meh for me tho i'm a huge fan of kyle gallner.
I enjoyed the first smile up until the ending; that’s when it got really tacky and cliché for me. It definitely takes inspiration from it follows. I’m also a fan of Gallner, he’s been getting a lot of work lately, really happy for him. Still have yet to see Strange Darling but I hear fantastic things about it!
Not the worst of the year and not completely bad. Good actors in it, a couple solid scenarios, but overall just not a needed movie. Always great to see you brother!
“The Terrifier” I think she is referring to is the abandoned funhouse where she fought Art in the 3rd act of Terrifier 2 (it had that name on its monicker outside the building). Her brother says something about needing something that’s buried there…..my assumption is they’re talking about that sword.
@@libbytibby this trailer delivered on everything I think it could have 🖤 so so excited for this. Thanks so much for watching, it’s great to see you here again 😊
@@leo_714 by how many questions were left with terrifier 2 and how many questions this trailer alone looks like it’s going to be answering, and how much further lore is being teased; I would bet good money that there will be a total of 4 films.
@@jrome9825 the SB:BFBB fan in me WANTS to give it the benefit of the doubt.. but I just can’t shake this feeling of cash-grab… Do you plan on playing it??
So if Lee's mam was there leaving the dolls etc who ties the bodies up in that circle thing? Does she ? Weird, also maybe Longlegs didnt intend to kill Lee and her mam like the others. Maybe Longlegs knew if he went she would agree to do his work with him seeing as Lee was the only thing she had. Of course she'd agree, also the mother already had some doomsday type of belief. I dont know if they are catholic (im catholic) and I didnt really see anything in the movie that suggested that Lee and her mam are specifically catholic over any other christian belief. The targets being catholic however is easy seeing as she dressed up as a nun and said they won a prize from the church. The catholic part could easily just be victims because they would easily trust a nun. I wonder if she was psychic because of the doll, once the dolls head was broken there was some mist that came out of her head. Maybe Longlegs had split his soul into 7 (sort of like the beast from the sea with 7 heads) and her "powers" and connection to him came from that. Maybe the catholic religion was targeted because as catholics the church still actively does exorcism to get rid of evil spirits from someone etc (again only silly little theories). Since the mothe did say "so now his free" or something along those lines. Now that he is out of his human body maybe he can now really begin his evil by taking over people? To me the killings seem to be working up to a larger thing, I think the killings are a ritual of something (some type of sacrifice ) in order for him to be able to once he leaves his human body to have some demonic power. And the reason why he needed Lee's mam to help was to not get caught or to have access to these certain families. The girls being young (and not to sound gross) the girls would be virgins, and its always virgins who are killed in rituals (we know this from like all the horror crap since forever lol). I think the real victims are the kids and the parents are just collateral. OR same theory just slightly different that somehow the ritual requires the fathers to kill them sort of like a more evil version of Abraham and Isaac, God at the end was like "jkjkjk" but a evil version of this would require a father to actually kill the kid(s)......sorry for long info dump....but I think its something like that maybe. I hope we get part 2 ^^
well i guess there is no cat in the movie damn. it's a must watch but i don't know if on the big screen, let's see how inflation goes haha, maybe if the overall reviews are positive i should watch it, thank you!
@@PragmaticAddict I was like no the t9 texting the nervous game the MySpace , aim, the horny friends who think their a ladies man. This is definitely up there with Boyhood Lady bird Mid 90’s Eighth grade The dark knight posts on fb I was missing the twilight references or the Harry Potter stuff
04:51 3 weeks. this movie ehmm reminds me of another coming of age, drama of another movie named 37 seconds, directed by hikari, however a feel didi it's more a coming of age rather than more drama of coming age bc 37 seconds play with that, i'm gonna save it to my watchlist and thank you stu
@@kaleahcollins4567I disagree.. this is an indie horror film - Beetlejuice is a Tim Burton film. They’re in two different categories. A24 has a massive following, especially when it comes to their horror films. Plus, these directors are in relation to Robert Eggers (The Witch, The Lighthouse, upcoming Nosferatu) who is a highly respected director working today.
I’ll watch it but I think it looks cheesy in a bad way. Whose idea was it to cast Brandy, though? Lol. Might as well let Jewel and Alanis Morissette have cameos tooo
@@forestpark73 it looks different from what I’d typically expect from an Eggers picture, definitely agree with what people are saying how it feels something along the lines of Get Out, with the themes of racism, the dark comedy of it, but with it being from A24, I’m hoping they go really nutso with it lol.
@@SaintsVictory I think it looks interesting. Looks like a good use of dark comedy and unhinged horror, especially with it being a directorial debut from brothers of Robert Eggers, and from A24; I have tons of faith in it.
@@juanitawashington106Actually, right after she says that, she also says, “she wants to replace me.” So I further suspect this is a body swap horror flick.
@@a.m.308 I thought she said that talking about taking her place as the babies mother, that's why we kept seeing flashes of her holding Belinda's baby.
@@PragmaticAddictyeah I just don’t agree. A24 is overrated. I’m tired of getting excited for things because it’s supposedly from a good company that’s known for blah blah blah and then the last couples movies from A24 were just ok, nothing special. But you are welcome to ur opinion and I’m sure many people think it’s going to be good.
I’d love to hear your thoughts! I’m hearing very… all-over reviews about it 😂 i’ve seen and heard a lot of reviews now, and none of them are exactly the same lol.
