Helpful video! As with @michaelblacktree and @GamersGirl27, I discovered that a small screwdriver inserted between the outboard slot in the faceplate plastic and the hinge frees it from the spring clips without having to break anything. I did give the plastic a short hairdryer blast to discourage snapping. Thank you!
Oh Jeez...I did this last oct and still was getting the puff of smoke at start up. Today I pulled one of the injectors and there is still oil on it. Checked the torque on the inner studs...9nm. Whats the issue...please help.
Thanks for the great content. Just used your vacuum line video on my UK 335d. Going to do the vacuum pump seal. Does the pipe you remover from the right hand side of the pump have an o-ring?
Can this be used to code a brand new replacement key or reprogamme a second had key for another vehicle to your vehicle? I have a 2014 A6 and need a spare key.. Any advice?
Could you post a link to the silicone hose you used for this job? The tunemyeuro link doesn’t work anymore and I’m having trouble finding it on the cascade german site. I’d like to use all black and enough to do the entire job in one length
Is there somewhere we can look at sensor connections near the vacuum lines? I think with EGR delete not all sensors/connectors are needed to be connected, I am going to assume that's the case, but if anyone sees this that knows for sure or has diagrams please reply!
I hope someone will take a look on this post On my 120d 2011 177 hp i have this 2 codes (dpf on) 497D exhaust pressure sensor before turbine, plausibility 4CA7: 4CA7 fuel temperature sensor, plausibility I try to figure it out myself for now, eventually I'll take it to the shop, but if somebody have an idea will be very nice. Thank you
FYI I did this with a full tank and it was fine. Sure, the fuel was up to the brim, but so what. Same as handling a full glass of water. A steady hand and understanding of physics and you're good to go. Strength and grace of movement are why I do movement culture and calisthenics. Imagine your movements in your head before you do them and everything is perfect, like a model, gymnast or balerina. Of course all of that is out the window if you play around with alcohol because of it's effects on the cerebellum. Goodbye competent movement patterns! Be careful, not financial advice or automotive advices either!
So I have an adapter and I have the clip on but I get boost leak from it at around 15 psi and sounds like when you let air out of a balloon to make that screaming noise. It’s not loud but does that mean the adapter is not seated right?
Hello Andrew. Any tips on how to remove the 21mm center bolt for the timing chain. My seems to be just spinning with the gears and not loosening up. I have the tools to keep the belt sprocket in place once I’m able to remove the center bolt. Any tips will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Fun fact: the microbes in our diesel tanks, lines etc is because of government mandate that a certain percentage of automotive diesel is mixed with biodiesel. In California the pure diesel does not cause this issue, but is also died red so that law enforcement know you are in violation. That's right, the government mandates equipment degredation.
What is the part number for the exhaust gas manifold hose for BMW F10/F11? I have bought the exhaust gas manifold sensor. I need to replace the hose going from this sensor to the manifold
My 35d feels sluggish low rpm, but I can see the actuator move when the engine has started and when it's turned off. I've replaced most of vac lines. Is it possible that one of the pressure convertors are bad despite the actuator moving?
Hi, thank you for an excellent video. I have the same problem with my new installed Turbocharger. My small turbocharger do not work because leakage from the boost pipe. I am going to replace the boost pipe. The exhause hose connecting to he exhause sensor you talk about, which BMW model or engine is affected? I have a BMW 525D Xdrive F11 2012.
