The Dark Side Of The Moon Redux, a new reimagined version of Pink Floyd’s original - Available Now
Roger Waters is Pink Floyd's grand conceptualist, the driving force behind albums such as Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall. In the wake of Syd Barrett's departure, Waters emerged as a formidable songwriter, but it's this stretch of '70s albums -- each one nearly symphonic in its reach -- that established him as a distinctive, idiosyncratic voice within rock, one with a sober morality and sardonic sense of humor. After 1992, Waters didn't devote himself to writing new rock music, preferring to stage live revivals of Dark Side Of The Moon and The Wall as he composed classical pieces and worked as an activist. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dark Side Of The Moon, Roger Waters has recorded and will release his own reimagined version of the Pink Floyd's original on October 6th 2023, along with two sold-out shows in London.
There is not, never was, a shred of beauty in Nick Caves music. He is relatively well known for no apparent reason. Nick, YOUR 15 MINUTES WERE UP 40 YEARS AGO. - And you cannot take that piano with you..
Caught his show in Santiago on this last tour (Wish You Were Here). Flew down from the States because I've always wanted to see a show in South America (the energy is legendary and they didn't disappoint). The average age of the crowd I'm guessing as 40 and younger. The fact that Water's music speaks to generation after generation tells you everything about his vision as an artist (and a lifelong antiwar activist).
JFC Roger it's called a Fucking COVER I'm tired of you Englishman and your ridiculous words. Redux WTF it's a cover of All of your songs JFC you change every song that's Why I love you. AND the piano lid comes down and breaks his fucking fingers Lloyd Webber? Stop with The remix redux it's a fucking COVER
Roger waters exhibits umerous symptoms of Alzheimers. I know because my father had this dreadful illness for 10 years before he died. Unfortunately, my father exhibited kindness whereas Waters exhibits malevolence
Genious, a great song from a great person who is beyond stars, titles .relegions,names,e.t.c. If that man insisted to something he had his reasons!Respectfully and with my best regards..Have a wonderful night.
Roger, I understand now that the song Brain Damage is actually your autobiography. And yet it's unique to always be on the wrong side. I guess your moral compass is completely broken. Such a classic. Extremely wealthy man adores communism. Classic stupidity.
Big man, pig man Ha, ha, charade you are You well heeled big wheel Ha, ha, charade you are And when your hand is on your heart You're nearly a good laugh Almost a joker With your head down in the pig bin Saying 'Keep on digging' Pig stain on your fat chin What do you hope to find Down in the pig mine? You're nearly a laugh You're nearly a laugh But you're really a cry Bus stop rat bag Ha, ha, charade you are You fucked up old hag Ha, ha, charade you are You radiate cold shafts of broken glass You're nearly a good laugh Almost worth a quick grin You like the feel of steel You're hot stuff with a hatpin And good fun with a hand gun You're nearly a laugh You're nearly a laugh But you're really a cry Hey you, Whitehouse Ha, ha, charade you are You house proud town mouse Ha, ha, charade you are You're trying to keep our feelings off the street You're nearly a real treat All tight lips and cold feet And do you feel abused? You got to stem the evil tide And keep it all on the inside Mary you're nearly a treat Mary you're nearly a treat But you're really a cry
Oh Roger, so much money and two pieces of a jigsaw. Enjoy Barbados. The world will be as the rulers want it to be. I don't have much time left either. You're just one hand on a rope that built the Pyramids. You brought joy to millions musically. Remember "In 80yrs with luck or even less ". Have fun. Memento Mori.
Remake "Radio Kaos"... take out all of the 80's synth and pop sensibilities... leaving a "stripped down" version which would almost certainly be more pleasing to the ear. C'mon, Roger... you even said yourself that you "allowed yourself to be pushed in directions with which you were not comfortable" during the making of "Radio Kaos"... I actually really like it... and all of your solo stuff. But if any album of yours is literally crying out for a "remake" or "reinterpretation" or a "remastering"... or whatever the fuck they're called these days? It's "Radio Kaos". Billy is waiting.... You could even make it a double album, like originally planned? Assuming you actually have finished, unreleased songs from those sessions in the can...
look at myself and I see you, my dear brother, I look at myself and I'm more ashamed, in what conditions do I let you live, in this fast-moving society, without attention to your sensitivity, to your pain. We look for the beautiful, in a consumerist world, while you fight for a glass of hot milk, for clean clothes, to do what is simple for us, in our homes. They throw you out of the premises, they don't even let you do your business, it's easy for us to live, for us who run, for us who don't look, for us who remain indifferent. We are the real sick ones, of a society that struggles to love, to love their brothers. I look at myself and I see you, my dear brother, and I ask myself: if I were in your place, I could tolerate this hypocrisy, these individuals who don't even give me a glance? Then I tell you, my dear brother, you are better than me, since you have conquered the world, and I remain a prisoner of it, with my soul.
Roger i heard your new song earlier it's good to have ears When They Supply TWO THOUSAND POUND and TWENTY PENCE on top of tents , i loved the lyrics , Thank you.
The answer of mr. Waters to Alina is total bullshit. Sure thing peace is better then war, but it is also important who started and why. You want let dictators take what they want? Really? So stupid.
Ver a Galtieri en un video de Pink Floyd, es demasiado para este payaso asesino que para sostenerse en el poder, mandó a nuestros jóvenes héroes a morir de frío y hambre.
The fact that he supports Harris means that he is completely out of touch with the grim reality the USA faces with her in office. Waters is more irrelevant now than ever.
I am amazed by all the woke igornant groupies salivating with praise for a man who is essentially a Jew-heeting "big-oot". Waters should not be praised, he should be condemned by anyone with a conscience or who recognizes human rights. He is a "neo-nazssi", who cloaks his beliefs under the guise of compassion.
