geforce now is not available in my country....but still i get a smooth fps and negligible lag from the server which is miles away from my country......last week i played hitman in my main room in front of my whole family and they were awestruck by the thing i was playing and just need to have a good internet connection.....bow down to cloud technology!
Nailed the arguments. I was a pc master race. We had to adapt the house for my disabled daughter and this meant losing the space for my PC. Cloud gaming was the best option for me. Streamed to a £80 tablet with a £20 stretch controller and occassionally to an LG tv. I get a top tier PC streamed to me and ongoing upgrades keeping me at that tip tier. The 5 years of geforcenow if bought when sales is less than the cost of a top gpu. Although I use boosteroid presently as wanted to play the sony titles gfn dorsnt have. I cant play every single game but tbh as a dad of 4 one as aforementioned seriously disabled then i only really play single player AAAs for maybes an hour a day if im lucky and often thats sat in the school car park 20 miles from home cloud gaming on 5G on my phone. Cloud gaming just makes 100% sense for me and many many others and I honestly can never see me returning to traditional gaming. End of the day game as you want to, no matter the method, the green v blue, old game emulation. Just enjoy your hobby.
Wow Ben! Amazing to hear how this works so well for you. I can’t begin to tell you how much the Dad gaming and grabbing a few minutes while waiting in school car line resonates with me. I totally agree with the points made good video the only think is a minus for me is the library neither boosteroid or nvidia have all the games but microsoft might be the hero later this year if we believe Phil we will be able to play our games on the xcloud soon
Imagine if the future of console is not each user having thier their own console, but the hardware distributed into a data center. So your Samsung TV is a console and the hardware automatically gets better over time.
hey. you don't need a 4090. a 4070 will do you just fine for 1440p gaming even better, you can get an amd card if you don't care for ray tracing (which lets be honest most people don't use anyways) and save some money if you want to save even more, buying a second hand gpu will knock its price down by 40%, and old gpus don't really suffer from any performance losses. for the point where you can just play it wherever you are, talking to other people around you rather than being fixed on your devices is beneficial for both people. sure talking to strangers might be hard, but after you get past the first few random conversations you have with people it's easy to find people on public transit or at work willing to have a conversation to pass time
@@zaofactor why buy a $400+ console when you pay $20 a month for access to this service that allows you to play a larger variety of games and not restrict you to a console platform.
@RyanManleyLive Because you are still restricted to the collection of games available on the service, otherwise you have to buy games, and then 20 bucks a month to play those games that you bought. If you have that service for 2 years, you have already paid the cost of a console, if not more. It's a cool product, but extremely niche. More of a tech demo that you pay for more than anything else.
Same for me I'm playing home on my little MacBook Air M3 13inch with a fucking RTX 4080 this is so cool. It would be so better if we could mods some games and add any games we wants.
I think there’s good signs of things to come with modding. With some things like WoW getting plugins allowed and Bethesda games allowing for creation club, I think as GeForce Now expands we will see more access like this.
@@DH-tt6gc I’ve used both tv and monitor with a MacBook Air M2. As long as you are using either thunderbolt 3 cable it will push 4K 120hz at 60fps Apple also lists this as a capability on their website under the ports section for reference. Just make sure your cable and display are capable and you should be good to go!
I didn’t expect a video like this talking about Once Human but I believe the Once Human community needs this. As for me, the seasonal wipe will affect me if there will be no new mechanics or stuff in the new season. I can grind for materials over and over but there should be something more exciting other than getting the seasonal achievements. For example, there should be a mechanic where enemy deviants will get stronger but once you defeat them, they will drop higher amounts of acids or a seasonal currency which can be exchanged for gearing or territory decors etc. As of now, I feel like all of us are still in CBT waiting for the community’s response anout the wipe. Will players of OH decline, retain or increase? But then, OH is not yet released via mobile so even if the pc players decline, mobile players might be the real target audince here. I’ll keep playing and see what will happen after this first season.
@@felinechat874 I love the idea of deviants getting stronger as you defeat them and, in turn, having higher drops. This rewards continued play and skilled play in such a great way. Interesting point about mobile as well. I will have to keep my eye on that
