It's September it's low travel season. Travel will pick up again in October. Those of us who work in the industry we know the trend. Travel starts picking up around Halloween, then we have Thanksgiving, then Christmas, then New Year... then spring break.... Easter.....memorial day....summer....labor day, and then it drops again and starts over 😂😂😂😂😂 Right now most airlines in the US allow staff to take off from September to October because it's when they have reduced flights.
@@wadew4091 Thanks Wade for being very informative in your comments much appreciated, looking forward to seeing the numbers again, do have a blessed day and thanks again

Maybe our crime problem is finally showing up in our visitor arrivals numbers! I know all about crime not being in the tourism areas but the U.S recently put Jamaica on a very slippery slope with upgraded warnings to their citizens about traveling to Jamaica. We simply can’t rely on our reputation any longer, more and more Caribbean countries have stepped up their tourism offerings and they don’t have to worry about crime impacting their industry. The American economy is in a holding pattern at the moment, there’s a lot of uncertainties in their economy, job openings have been on the decline and let us not overlook the upcoming presidential election! We must address our crime problem honestly with vigor and stop making it a political issue! The next administration must address the problem just like how we are addressing our infrastructure needs currently. Outdated laws must be modernized with severe consequences for all offenders. How can someone on murder charge get bail so easily? We must face this head on and finally address it honestly. If El Salvador can solve their massive crime problem, Jamaica can do the same with political will and guts. El Salvador once led the world in murder rate until they elected the current no nonsense president Nayib Bukele! We must take a page out of their play book. Nothing succeeds like success! 😢

MBJ airport is having low passenger numbers since "back to school". It happens every year but with US elections coming up soon has probably made it worse.
I refuse to get political. Unfortunately there's a hard cold fact. The people running this country right now are complete garbage. Remember I'm moving to Jamaica to get away from this garbage. During an election year of the US economy is slows down. Bad. My business is proof of it. I'm telling you right now if that woman gets into office you're screwed. I don't care what her nationality is. Cold hard fact.

No it isn't. Most Americans know not to worry about that. I'm more likely to have problems in Philadelphia in New York Detroit and Washington DC than Jamaica. I promise you it's not your crime rate.

Good videos as usual Stewy. Saw the FAA report on the near miss with Southwest and FedEx cargo these pilots just don't realize their madness at times. How can you sit on the runaway for 19secs after you are already cleared for takeoff what the landing traffic must do? Luckily the FedEx pilot was smart enough to see the danger an abort landing. While the Southwest was told to expedite the active runway his reply was - " NO, HE IS ROLLING"😮And we fly with them anyways!
@@normanmogg352 Thanks Norman I suspect you are referring to last year's Austin Texas incident, unfortunate it happened, but we are only human and it can happen, that's why they're electronics on the aircraft to act as a backup in such a scenario, thankful there was no loss of life and would imagine steps taken to prevent this ever happening again, bless up Norman,we don't get that level of fog in Jamaica so that's one we don't worry about too much hear
@@jamoyrose I could understand if particular airlines chooses faster landing speed, I think they intentionally use the full length but why I'm not sure, I've been on aircraft that landed using full length and the stopping process is less strenuous on the aircraft and passengers and I've landed on southwest who never seem to go all the way and the stopping process is more abrupt forcing you forward, so I assume American airlines takes that into consideration when landing, just my thought, have a great day Jamoy and thanks for watching
@@grantmiller6570 They are all expected to get off the runway as early as possible unless advised otherwise but for some reason American airlines majority of the time goes to the end, not sure if it's company policy on how they stop the aircraft, would be great to know, have a wonderful day Grant and thanks for watching
