You stayed pretty steady, which is why you won the class. One rider is kinda wild; impressive in corners but often lost drive because too much corner speed. The other has a fast bike or weighs nothing! Thanks for sharing

Looks like you were having fun on the 250! Great job! If you haven't tried an R3, I highly recommend them, especially because the grid is swarmed with them now
dinhofutbol11 is right cummins is and always will be number 1 in light diesel trucks. i mean come on when ford or chevy has a million mile club with over 1,000 people in it then thay can start talking about there trucks being the best. dodge owns the diesel trucks and the regular cab v8 trucks lol. 5.7 hemi will rape a 5.3 chevy of a 5.0 ford lol ow well just dodge for yea bad to the bone lol
@000gum000ball000 I didn't think it was that bad. If you're pretty good at reading wiring schematics and don't mind taking the time to do it right, it's not hard, but can get tedious.
@000gum000ball000 No, I bought an adapter plate and the motor mounts, but did all the wiring myself with the help of some guys who had done the conversion before and by studying wiring diagrams.
@xmodrock The motor was purchased used, out of a salvaged truck. Can't remember exactly how much, but average price for a low mileage engine. The trans is a Ford 4R100 build by Brian's Truck Shop, being run by a PCS controller.
@97chevyZ71350 Allison is just like Cummins. Chevy couldn't make a transmission and dodge couldn't produce their own diesel, neither could Gm for that matter. Isuzu makes their engine. Ford does it all and well. That being said I am still putting a Cummins in my Superduty right now. Much simplier motor. LOL
@09ICCE200 -- Probably because it didn't have any oil in it and it took 3K miles to lock it up... jk - Why did it have a busted block, what happened? Why did I have to get a new 5.9 cummins when mine only had 8300 miles on it??? Busted block too! (53) AND my 7.3 threw a rod at 145K - You'll have that
@jmanwild There is no dodge PCM. I have a PCS (Powertrain Control Solutions) controller that controls the 4R100. It's a stand alone unit that receives signals from the trans and engine.
@jmanwild I didn't even look into a crate engine, honestly. However, mine was out of a new '04 truck that was totaled in transport on it's way to the dealer, so my engine was essentially brand new. The engine ECM is the stock Cummins one that is bolted to the block. Custom tune for the trans is because the trans is still the Ford 4R100 (truck is a '00, but has an '05 front end on it). I already had a built 4R100 in the truck, so I kept it.
@jtharvey999 i think he meant a crate. and cummins does sell crate motors. i doubt anyone looking to swap in a cummins would opt for a crate engine, they are very expensive (i think aroun 8-9 thousand) your run the dodge pcm? why did you have to have a custom tune for the tranmission? if you used all crysler senors and transmission, you shouldn't have needed anything special. unless you kept the torqueshift. (which would be silly)
