Stranglehold by Derek St. Holmes (the voice of Ted Nugent) happens to be my all-time favorite 80's song. I was so fortunate enough to run the light show for his local appearance four years ago featured in this video. He is a very nice man, awesome musician with an outstanding voice! I am so honored to have worked on the production for him along with Joe Tall. I am honored to know Mike and Dylan Hund, the lead guitarist and bassist here. I consider this show one of the of the highlights of my musical career.
It's the same style, but he is every bit as good as Shaggy, without all the Symphonic hoopla, and spitting I had to abide while seeing Dimmu. I wish I had been there to see this show.
Besides the Joe Barden pickups, what else does he use to get his epic f--ing tone? He plays basically straight into the amp, (few rack or stombox effects) right?
