This is a pretty design. I have never crocheted before. I am going to buy the materials, but it has been difficult for me to get the plastic ring, it could be in metal? Thanks for sharing❤
@maidenpietown Thank you for the response. I did it. It was hard to handle the thing metal ring, and it was my very first time working with crochet....I'm clumsy. But feeling proud. Thank you again. Blessings.

I’ve tried this several times. The base is 36 not 32 and for some reason I can’t seem to end up with the shell at the end to slp st to the chain 4. It ends with a triple crochet. What am I doing wrong here?
I have tried making this 3 times! I can only do 7 petals to end up with 9 stitches. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong😢! I follow your instructions to the letter. Wish you would have provided written instructions without purchase!
I have added a new video showing how to sew on the button. You should be able to fast forward to the button section of the video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lcQTmbLdK9E.html
The 2 1/2” ring requires 58 SC to start. So you will want to add extra fans to fill in the gap for a 3” ring. To do this, keep adding SC in groups of 6. So try 64 SC, if that isn’t enough try 70 and so on until you fill the ring. I hope that made sense. Thanks for following!
LOVE this pattern! I subscribed, like most did, because you did such a fabulous job with the instructions and video and it turned out so beautiful!!! Thanks!
This is such an unusual ornament! Your entire family, friends of even pets names can be incased inside the globe. Truly a memory maker! I am going to have all the names of the people who are coming this year for holiday, enclosed inside the ornament and year after year, looking at the ornaments of all the different people who have came for the holidays!!
This tutorial was so easy to follow. Thank you! I struggle to follow written crochet patterns and would say I'm a visual learner. This tutorial was fantastic. Now a new subscriber.❤
