Hi there i am a Upscaler, modder and a gamer. I love video games a lot and love upscaling them to hd. If have a request feel free to dm me @discord account id : n0_0ne371
I'm downloading this game not because of the gameplay but the opening scene . it is kind of short compared to the other game OP . I wish it was like 1.30+ 😊
@@johans3164 In Nier Reincarnation, it was revealed that the world of Nier (and by extension the Drakengard world) is in a time loop. Him and Her are both like the overseers, observing the time loop, and became mournful at humanity’s unchanging downfall. They prayed for a miracle, hoping that one day humanity, the world, would be set free of this set in stone fate. Kaine was the answer to this miracle. By destroying the quantum server, Him and Her were set free, whilst also bringing back the Nier protagonist, this allowed a chance for humanity to one day return. This payoff happened in Nier Reincarnation when Fio and Levania defeated a corrupted Her after she absorbed the red girl from Nier Automata after the events of the 14th Machine War, and Her was the reason for the Earth’s and the Cage’s warped stasis. Her was purified from her hatred, the stagnant machine lifeforms and Yorha androids were back online, and Fio was the first human to have ever been resurrected in the Nier world for literally thousands of years.
Okabe still is genius. Waiting when sq would finally give taro money for not gacha version of reincarnation. After all this nier collabs.. we need new game.
This sounds like a slightly foreign, mechanical, and tentative version of alien manifestation. I wonder if that was intentional, like this was supposed to be an "early" version of that song since this game takes place many, many years before automata. For example, the change at 2:04 sounds like a messier, confused version of the change in the middle of alien manifestion. I'm probably just reading too much into this, but I know that a lot of nods to motifs go into drakenier's soundtrack so I thought I'd point it out!! as another comment pointed out, the initials for the songs are the same, and while this track plays in a final location of replicant, alien manifestation plays in the first location of automata, almost like they're bridging into one another :))
I'm really hoping that someone here might know, but in the very beginning with the female vocals, what is that type of singing called? It HAS to have a name because I've heard it utilized in a lot of specific Japanese settings.
It's throat singing. There's different types of throat singing depending on the culture, but some types in eastern Asia and in some parts of northern Europe such as those a part of Gaelic culture utilize singing with their throats like this :)
Do you think that the YoRHa female androids were modelled after Kainé? I mean this tree is the predecessor of the Machine Network, so it had to contain some info about her, as she was thoroughly observed. YoRHa units are made with cores from machine lifeforms. And we see dozens of rudimentary machine-Kainés here. On a different note, I love how she hesitates for a few seconds at 3:53 while deciding which hand she should choose.
If i remember correctly, A2 was modeled after Kainé, I guess using her data from the forest server (it's not 100% sure but it was heavily implied in the stage play, so like... I'd say 99% sure).
Easily my favorite new track in Replicant it’s like if they made Snow in Summer for Automata it just sounds so epic and majestic and nostalgic about playing Automata literally had chills when I first heard this
@@zomboids2100 Not really. YorHa and most of th androids in Automata are actually machines purposed with the task of fighting the other machines so they can feel a sense of purpose. The only exception is Devola and Popola. The machines are so dominant that they literally created an enemy just to give themselves purpose for exsisting. They defeated Emil. They defeated their own creators the aliens. They have no fear of death since the network reboots them into other bodies instantly. They could defeat YorHa and the resistance at anytime they want by spreading the logic virus like they did at the end of Automata. They even whipe their own memories of certain events just to make the fight fair so they dont blow up the bunker from the start. In Nier, only 2 kinds of beings ever win. The Gods, "from Drakenguard up until Replicant", and the machines, "After Replicant and into Automata". Humans and people wanting to be humans always wind up loosing in the long run.
@@TheDocbach But wasn't the whole YorHa buisness set up by an android? Even the inherent backdoor for Bunker was set, so as to destroy all traces of the truth. All to make even better androids, and continue the sharade. Machines saw that just as an opportunity to evolve themselves. [Project 03-01: Disposal of YoRHa] -[The backdoor of the Bunker has been set to open once the time approaches to switch to new models when enough combat data has been collected. The Bunker will be disposed of by having it be deliberately attacked by machines. At this time, all materials regarding the YoRHa project, including this document, will be lost, and falsification of the information that mankind still resides on the moon will be complete] Androids and machines are diffrent(even tough Androids use black boxes, as in recycled machine cores),it was just convinient to use what was already available... [Black Box] -[Each YoRHa unit is equipped with a "black box", an item created by reusing the core of a machine lifeform. As such, it could be said that the consciousnesses of YoRHa units and machine lifeforms share the same structure. Said black boxes were installed after determining that it would be inhumane to install standard AI in androids that are ultimately destined for disposal] Machines didn't really defeated Emil. Androids did, 2b and 9s with A2(if it is even canon tough) Machnies did eliminate their masters, the Aliens, since they were an obstacle to their evolution. And i wouldn't say that God's really won. Since in the end they were finally deeated somwhere before the events of Nier:Replicant. The question is, who exactly was responsible for the bug in Gestalt system, where Replicant gained their own consioucness. Or was that simply an overlooked flaw? Who knows. Hell God's winning in Drakengard universe is still in question. All that stuff with Accord searching for something in the timelines. And machines, oh the poor machines. They try to replicate Humanity so hard, and yet...They aren't really capable of doing that all the way, due to obvious reasons. At best, copy Androids(Adam and Eve)look. And even then, only those 2 ever came into being. Nobody really wins, only achieve something, but not really prevail. At the end of Automata, a big amount of machines flew into space, to look for a new home. Some machines are left on Earth, along with Androids. And unless something can be done with genetic information on Moon Server, only those 2 species will remain on Earth. Well, unless some other aliens invade. At the end of the day it's up for Yoko Taro to decide, a god of this franchise. A pity he must answer to even higner god's(Square Enix), which aren't all that supportive of him.
Likely because it’s a completely new piece of music from the lead composer. Sounds less like a remastered version of his old music and more like his newer work
