3:43 those Hobnobs are so friggin good. I'm fortunate in New York City to have a UK import grocery and at $4 US it's a worthy indulgence as well as Digestives😋
I miss pastys, minty peas, white stlton with fruit, and clear diet lemonade. The closest I can come to the lemonade is I have a Myer lemon tree in my yard. Milder and sweeter that average lemons.
The UK weather is never extreme, so it never gets very hot but never gets very cold. If moving from a warm climate, like, for example Texas, this place will feel cold most of the time. However, beware, you will acclimatise. The when you go home, you find you've turned into a Brit and can't stand the heat. You'll know you've become a weather Brit when you barbecue in a a day that has patchy cloud and temperatures barely scraping 20 Celsius, that's around 70 Farenthingy I think.
ah fella i live in the uk and 20% tax and free at point of delivery healthcare and all the meds you need for $10 a month is a nightmare ..stay in texas :)
Man... Not all of us agree with or fall into the stereotypes. Maybe those from the east moreso. There are more eh sayers and sugar shacks there. And as for beer, I'm a tea drinker. Would rather make mine at home than Tim's. But what do I know? I'm from small town BC(Currently stranded in Edmonton).☺️
British summers have been especially bad for the last theee years, but there is hope! If enough people listen to your advice about not bringing summer clothes, then Sods Law will automatically kick in and we will have a meltingly hot summer. British weather will always leave you guessing.🤬
