@@graceifishing I agree! We also like to use poppers for bass n bluegill around here! They last a lot longer than the dry flys and don’t have to be dried each time. If they r not hitting on top, the black wholly bugger is a good basic underwater streamer for a lot of fresh water fish I’ve found.

@@graceifishing Im using a variety, I just used a whopper plopper and some other topwaters, really haven’t had good success with them, I’m usually just using a jerk bait and the bass are loving those right now.

@@graceifishing The upper sac was nothing but dinks on sunday. Caught 16 with only one keeper. The mccloud has been good this year and it has been easy with Bailey Cove being open.

Jones valley is perfect for kayaks, there’s plenty of coves and it’s usually not as windy as Centimudi. I’ve spent many trips staying around the launch there and done well by kayak👍
