One of the most enjoyable shows I’ve ever been to in my life, everyone was a laugh and friendly, no one judges ya, Im not joking, you can just start a random conversation with someone about drums and end up becoming friends because of it! Loved the show last year, so excited for this year
I wish 🤞🏻 Sonor would make the cool Artist Series Bronze Snare Drum 🥁 in a standard classic *6.5” Depth* with Black Chrome 🖤 Hardware! 6” depth is too piccolo sounding to my ears 👂🏻 and taste.
The kit sounds stellar! Do you have the title of that first track you’re playing along with? I browse SoundFile often for practice tracks and have never come across that one. Thanks!
Big fan of your style as well. My favorite drummer has always been Randy Castillo R.I.P but your #2 for me. Interested to know who your influences are👍
Art Cruz! 😍 We were in Norwich UK for the Lamb of God concert in March 2023. After the concert, Art Cruz went down the stage to greet the fans. He took my phone and took selfies with us!!!!! Such a memorable moment!!! ❤
So, slightly worse than a real drum kit but also just as big and much more expensive? I don't think people play e-drum kits because they like the sound. They play them because they have to spend 50% of their income on a closet that this won't fit in.
People buy them because of volume issues mostly. I play in a function band and 90% of the venues I play have a limiter so an electric(acoustic looking) kit is the best option. This kit is way to expensive though. You could literally buy 2 Roland VAD kits and save yourself like £2k
I’m sure some older drummers do but this isn’t the shitty Simmons pads of the 80s. Electric kits have come a long way. Acoustic kits are great but not practical for a lot of people.
I just don't like tom sounds on an electric drum. It always has this muffled, weird sound that sounds "unnatural" to me. I'm sorry but that's not worth 8k.
Beautiful kit! Love the sounds and the specialty cymbals. Electronic kits have come a long way in their development since I got my first e-kit (Yamaha DXTreme ii )
Mapex hit the nail on the head when it comes to resonance/punch ratio. I never see drummers playing Mapex using any kind of dampening. They just sit right in the mix naturally...!
