This was the only year I was in WCU's marching band. I come back this video to relive it every so often. I can still track my place along the field while watching this. Thanks for uploading. =P
all of there shows are amazing im biased towards the 2010 thru 2012 shows tho since im in them on trumpet, butters "replacement" does awesome on the 2012 show
Happened to run across this on my feed from a few years back. If you think OSU could stay on the field with a REAL marching band, son, you are sadly mistaken. OSU is a rah rah band. This is the genuine article here.
I was there. Bearden High Trumpet Line all day. Lol our trumpets including me had shirts that said" dont try to copy our swagger". Our swagger died during this.
I was there!!! on the hill going over to the bleachers just where the camera cuts off. We were the last band before western haha..we thought we did good and then bam! there's western X3
@effectguitarist Yeah. well im still in high school i have 2 more years left. but yeah i will most deffianantly stick with marching band. and im in between nc state and WCU when i graduate. but yeah they were amazing in Enka.
FANTASTIC. It is so refreshing to know that there is still a college marching band in this country that cares about things such as tone quality, musicality, intonation, and all the key elements of true music while still managing to be wildly entertaining. Way to go Western. SO excited to see you guys live on Saturday!
@lacey238 just come see a home football game its worth the trip and if you are like me then I suggest joining the band if you choose to come out to WCU its a great school. But if not make sure you stick to marching if your college offers it. Trust me its worth it.
@still06doll Yeah, and we just finished the show that Wednesday, so we had Friday to clean it. We even added more visuals to the opener Monday. We're going through our cleaning now, so we'll slowly but surely make it perfect. Haha. Thanks for the compliments though. We play for the bands so they can see hat band doesn't drop off after high school, it only gets better :)
