@@Tubuxis This is most likely the answer, I've visited the backend of zoos before when I was younger. They have a larger warehouse like feeding/living and medic area with bigger pools behind those facades, same as dolphin ones. (But those for dolphins are way too small.) In confined spaces, I'd say seals deals with it better than dolphins, dolphins are too smart and gets depressed if they don't have enough physical & psychological stimulations just like humans. (I wouldn't support confining animals in small areas but I think these seals are more like domesticated animals already, like dogs and cats.)
