Our family is living the dream in the country with our dogs, Rusty and Ivy, turkeys, guinea pigs and more!! It's definitely never boring here with all of this crazy activity and we love every minute of it!! RIP Lily Kiel 2013-2024, she was a good dog and with us from the start of our channel.
Nice video, we own two of them. My wife’s is the PD and mine is the C model. Since they are self defense guns I felt the double action C model was the correct choice. By the way they are both 7 shot.
I have this exact rifle. Bought it at a gunshow for $150 several years ago. I was going to put a scope on it and start shooting it, but heck after seeing what you can do at 50 yards, I think I'll just use the peep sights. I picked up some Lapua target grade ammunition though so hopefully I can tighten up the groups a bit.
Nice! Will probably add one to my Keltec pistol collection. What a nice spot to shoot at, too! And I'm no expert, but I see a little tear in the seats of your ride. You might want to look at that before they get really bad! 😆
I blew a chance on a triple nickel in 28 ga. Should have put it on layaway. Even though 28 is like 410 and for the expert shooters, which I'm not. But I still like the 28.
Glad this rifle found a good home. Was watching it on Guns international. Actually decided to go back and buy it but it was gone. Hope you enjoy it and good shooting!
I have that same rifle and the 270 gr Hornaday sp shoot 1/2" , 3 shot groups at 100 yds. The recoil was stout enough for me to have a gunsmith friend of mine put a muzzle break on it. For that young man to shoot that big bore, tough little tyke!! With the muzzle break, it tamed it down to about that of a 30'06 with 180 gr loads
Thanks for watching! Original Russian 7.62 calibers were loaded with .311" bullets. Same as British .303. We fired some Norinco ammo from the 1990's and extraction was sticky. High pressure? We tried 4 other 7.62x39 loads from Europe and none shot real good. These Federals measured .309". The others were .310-.311
Stumbled across your channel while researching at Ted Williams Model 53 I saw at the local gin store. I’m going to have to buy it. Give Rusty and Ivey a biscuit Me. I went ahead and subscribed. Mind your school work and eat your veggies young man.
We have 2 of those EDENBERG scopes. So far so good. Neither one has a high rnd count. One downside is that the ocular adjustment is too loose. You can solve this issue by backing it out fully and giving it a couple wraps of stretchy tape and tighten it back up to where it suits you. Otherwise I like the clean looks of a basic LPVO. I don't like batteries on my scope! Glass seems pretty good. For $68 its a winner! So far! Thanks for supporting HENRY!
@@HenryandRusty Appreciate the response! I don’t like battery scopes either, just added weight. May just have to bite the bullet and order one. Happy Labor Day weekend fellas 💥💯
I just retired my 1970 S&W 36 for a m68, I picked it up for a cool 150$. I would say it’s in 99% condition. The model 36 will now be a safe queen, it will be joining the model 10 and model 29.
