Welcome to my channel on video poker and slots. My name is Deano and my favorite game is Ultimate X Deuces Wild Draw and Double Double Bonus Poker. I plan to talk strategy and show examples where my strategy either paid off or where it failed and of course show the occasional jack pot/handpay wins. I look forward to hearing other's thoughts on strategy as well. Thanks!
Keep in mind, don't bet more than you can stand to lose. My strategy is that I'm actually happy if I break even for the year, the house always has the edge in the long run. However, I'm in it to drag the occasional big pot and hopefully I hit a big cash at some point. At different times in the year, I may be up a few thousand or down a few thousand. you need the bank roll to ride out the down turns which can last a few months if you play regularly, but they usually even out if you play smart and have a cash out strategy. Remember to play responsible, gambling can become an addiction!
I didn't see that but you're right. Although the RNG changes every split second so keeping a different set of cards would have meant a totally different deal... at least that's what I tell myself to feel better in those circumstances.
FYI, just looking at wizard of odds hand analyzer for triple double bonus, it says the straight has EV=4 and SF draw=3.59. That doesn't take into account multipliers or multi line play however.
This is one that everyone gets wrong in Ultimate X and is a good example of why this is a difficult game to play correctly. To determine whether or not to go for the royal, take the number of hands you are playing and multiply times 6. In this case 30. If the total of your multiplers add up to less than that, hold for the flush. It's crazy but that is legitimately the way you play this crazy game.
Keep playing if you can afford it and eventually something big should be dealt to you. I was once dealt 4 deuces playing Deuces Wild 10 handed with 3x multipliers on all 10 hands for 30,000 credits. It can happen.
