Happy Holidays! We are Katja, Björn and Balthazar. We live and travel in our van Beelzebus full-time. It is a Mercedes-Benz 508D fr.1984. It took us about 1,5 year to renovate and sell our house, quit our jobs, make all our affairs in order and about 6 full months of that time we spent restoring Beelzebus. We hit the road in July 2019. After traveling for about 9 months we had to return to our home town due to family matters. And then the pandemic started, so we decided to stay put for a while. That gave us an opportunity to figure out new sources of income to support our life-style on the road. So now we are working on turning a former workshop into 2 rental apartments in order to increase our passive income. In our videos we talk about our van and apartment builds, life on the road, beautiful destinations, our doggo Louie and restoration of an old Volvo Laplander fr.1963 that we hope to turn into an off-road camper to explore Iceland one day.

Miele makes a “18 wide dishwasher that is about 22” deep for $1300. It uses less water and washes with much hotter water. Often there is room if yo install it sideways. If there is only 2 of you can leave the clean dishes in the machine.
One thing I couldn't figure out was where did the negative from the control box run to? It was short (it was the one sent for battery), but I didn't see it connect back to the battery - I'm probably missing something really basic, but if you can correct me that would be great. Great informative videos too, I'm currently binging on them all!!
Another great video,thanks. Just a little tip that might help with the diesel heater,drying out the air too much. When doing laundry air dry your clothes inside the van somewhere,that might keep the air a bit moister,hope that helps.

Hello there nice wagon. Definitely best one I have seen. I had 508D East German army truck cargo troop carrier. I got zeplin army signals box for living quarter. I had to sell it in the end. I am really gutted i had to stop travelling I miss the road and all of the challenges and life of living on the road. Can't believe how popular it all has got now when I was doing it you couldn't sell the way of life or even the idea of living on the road now it's crazy how many people who are doing it.... so many times I have been told to fuck off out of sites and being not allowed on camps or places where to park up. I would love to know if that kind of thing still goes on with travlers now
@@NoZenith That Scottish Loch Capsule dishwasher sounds like an intriguing option! It's so thoughtful of you to consider your parents' space for the dishwasher! If you ever decide to try out the Bob, we saw that there's an even smaller model now, that is the same width but is a bit shorter. Our guess is that it's designed for those people who directly connect it to the water supply and don't need a water tank in it. Thank you! And we hope you find the dishwasher you like!🌟"
@@NoZenith Oh, I wonder if it that was what we saw too! It looked like a compact version of Bob, and it was placed right next to it at some exhibition. We initially assumed it was a smaller dishwasher, but after reading your comment, it totally makes sense that it's the all-in-one countertop cooking appliance you mentioned. :)) And yes, let's keep our fingers crossed that they'll bring it to the US market soon! When we were making the video, they did mention that they were already working towards expanding to the US market. So, hopefully, it won't be long! 🤞😄
@Beelzebus I agree. We were both pretty bummed. Mom asked me about dishwashers every once in awhile but most of the countertop ones are just too broad and tall to fit in her old kitchen without remodeling. Thanks for the luck wishes haha. And good luck on all of your travels in your beautiful rig.
Hej, går det att fricampa på Lofoten? Är det många får som springa lös? Vi har 4 malamuter med oss. Är det många turister i juli? Hur ser det ut med ställplatsen? Vi har 1 bil med stor husvagn plus en caddy med hundarna och vill stå nära varandra, ej på campingar. Hej ja ni kan nog fricampa men det är nog inte många platser man kan göra det på och det är mycket får 😅 men det finns många ställplatser och campingplatser 👍
