This video looks very nice very high quality, it was filmed very well and produced.. but I'm wondering why you didn't play the studio version and have The band sing that night so that everything was synced up and timed... Seeing the guys in the band play the song but it doesn't line up tempo wise with the studio version..
Hi, thanks for the compliment + question. This was filmed live at a show so there was no opportunity to film takes with a studio recording playing. So different clips were taken from other parts of the show to fill space when I’d need to move with my handheld. Just the process of filming solo at a live show. Do your best, grow with every shoot.
Hey Darci, Miss those days at Slim's with you and Diana behind the bar those were some good times. You have come a long ways since the Dolly Rottens and best wishes on your musical journey.
Hi! Sorry to bother you but I’m really interested in backpacking here but I can’t find a whole lot of detailed information on this site. I’m hoping maybe you could help me? 😂 -Do I need a backpacking permit in order to camp here, if so where do I get it? -Can you only camp at the 15 designated sites or can you set up anywhere? - Is there a portable water source nearby ?
Hey! No worries. You don't need a permit but you sign in at the trail head with your info, bring $5 or $10 in case there's a fee. The campsite was completely empty that time we went so we just camped right near the lake, i'm not sure if it's actually allowed though. We brought an MSR water filter and just pumped water from the lake.
I'm glad your songs are just you and that guitar. We get to hear the great in everything about you. That duet with Sandy Redd was simply magic, please hook up with her again because both of your fans see the greatness in that blend.❤️
Just had a great interview with Maddy on SK Morton's Lousy Podcast. She does two songs live in the Bomb Shelter (this one and one never recorded before) and is one of the most pleasant and fun guests I've ever had. www.skmorton.com/podcast-season-31/ep84
