@@MammaMia5668 I love this cat so much. When my mom, husband and I first fot her, her previous owners had declared her, not sure how long it had been but she had completely healed. The animal shelter warned me about her, saying she was vicious, feral acting, and would bite whatever part of you she could if you got too close. My mom, husband, and I still went to see her, and we brought her home. It took me almost 6 MONTHS to rehabilitate this cat. She is not feral acting anymore, she never bites, not even remotely aggressive, still hides when strangers are around, but I consider that semi normal, most of the cats I have had ran when company came by. Otherwise, she is now an absolute Saint. Perfect for me, as I put in 99% of the work with her, she tolerates my husband well enough, she WILL loosely tolerate my mom if my mom uses the brush on her. My mom's husband....... the two of them HATE each other. But hey - all is well. My family and I have had her for 6 years now, she was 3 - 4 years old when we got her, she is now somewhere 9 and 10 years old now. We got Fiona right after Sasha finally came around, and Fiona was 3, so Fi is about 8.

Bella would go seriously PSYCHO when I trimmed her nails, almost put me in the hospital a few times, alot of bleeding fur sure! 😰 But would never ever think of declaring her!! So her previous owner declared her than gave her up?? That's sad. You did an awesome job, rehabilitating her AND getting her to feel safe with Fiona!!! 👏👏🙌🙌💜💞🥰🐾🐾
@@MammaMia5668 thank you tons. How could I not have done what I did? What was done to her should be legally considered animal cruelty and fully banned. I HAD to adopt her and rehabilitate her. And it was Sasha and my mom's husband who hate each other, not mom and her husband. My mom's husband just HATES cats, and my cat hates him with equal measure.

I mean, I know Fiona is half Pit, half boxer, but after a while of having her, my mom was even saying, "Dang, with her genetics, shouldn't she be some hyperactive death machine?????" I tell you what, Fiona Rhiannon is the furthest thing from a hyperactive death machine you will ever meet, canine or otherwise. And my family and I love her just as much as you do.
@@annamarielewis7078 Amen to that. My babygirl Fiona is living proof of it. That's why I put attack in parentheses, as the only "attacking" she is doing is attacking me with kisses. Was my way of showing that pitbulls CAN be trusted. It's all about breeding, training, and environment. She is technically half red nosed albino pitbull, half boxer. And she has been spoiled senseless since the day we adopted her. She has spent the last 5 years being spoiled and loved on to the extreme. I have seen her interact with toddlers and babies, and she is a SAINT around them. With the toddler, she did that crouch run they do when they are particularly happy or want to initiate play, ran around him 3 times, and he was giggling and laughing like crazy. She stopped, crouched down again, paused when he stopped laughing, then ran around him in a circle another few times, with the same reaction from the toddler. She did this 3x, and made NO attempts to harm him. With the newborn baby, she just sniffed her, and gently licked her face a few times, and watched her intently. It was so precious. Not so. They are born with string instinct. They might point at birds, they might retrieve things, they might search by scent. But some are born to be aggressive and can be dangerous. Know the difference.

She is a major foodie, just like her mommy (me) is. And trust me everyone in the family goes out of their way to spoil her, as it should be.

Shes not begging. Shes so patient. Id make her a burger just for her. Most dogs whine and cry. Shes very beautiful and well behaved. She earned a burger and some fries
@@IgoTpaynus69 You are correct, she is VERY patient and well behaved. This video is a prime example of how she begs for things - predominantly food. She never whines or cries at all, even when she isn't feeling well. The ONLY time she makes a sound is when she barks to let us know that there is someone knocking at the door, or that there is someone on the property that she doesn't know, and she is warning us. And yes, she got a very tasty cheeseburger for being such a good girl during this video. The burgers were in the process of being made during the filming of this video, which is why nobody witnessed her getting her treat. She also got votes of everyone else's cheeseburgers, too. She was well and truly spoiled and pampered after this video was taken, as is her due. To give an example, during the winter before last, this one day she had been her usual quiet, laid back self, no issues at all. Around 1:30am, after everyone had gone to sleep (including her), she suddenly woke up everyone in the house barking and making a commotion that woke up everyone in the house. We spent 35 minutes trying to figure out why she was freaking out. We didn't see any wild animals, no signs of human life, no danger detected. We were all beyond confused as to what prompted this behavior until my mother turned the lights on in the garage and opened the garage door. That's when we discovered that the guy who plows out our driveway after snowstorms had dropped by right around the time she started barking and had plowed out our driveway. My mom, her husband, my husband, and I were just standing there staring at each other in complete disbelief at what had just happened. Trust me, she got ALOT more treats, spoiling, kisses, and cuddles that day, we were so grateful she warned us. I mean, we totally trust our plow guy, but Fiona didn't know if it was friend or foe, and for all we / she knew, it could have been some random serial killer on the loose who had decided to target my family as their next set of victims. We were WELL prepared to defend ourselves by the time we figured out what the situation actually was. My mother and I looked at each other in shock and disbelief, and I told her, "Allow me to squash ANY ideas you may have had, or will ever have, of getting rid of this dog. She is staying with this family for the rest of her life. If anyone even THINKS about getting rid of her, not only will they be out voted, but THEY will be the one to go. This family is MUCH safer with her around." Everyone else in the family was in complete agreement with me, no convincing needed, after what we had just witnessed. Oh, horribly dangerous and vicious. I barely survived being nearly licked and doggie kissed to death. I tell you, while certain dogs of ANY breed run the risk of snapping and killing their owners, ALOT of it has to do with breeding, training, and environment, over the long term. My family has owned Fiona for 5 of her 8 years od life, and she has known NOTHING but love and affection from us. We have spoiled her and have never even ONCE raised a hand to her. She sleeps in bed with me every night and has never once given me cause for concern. Yeah, you get your bad breeders, or your owners who either abuse dogs and / or train them to be fighter dogs in illegal dog fights, which I DO NOT condone, if they are raised right and live in a healthy environment, this is what you will most likely get with a pitbull. Fiona is amazing with kids and babies. Every single time she has encountered children, toddlers, infant, and newborn babies, this is what you see her do. She will stand vigil over them and give them kisses, or if they are toddlers and older, she will engage them and try to play with them. She had my friends toddler son giggling and laughing hysterically when she would engage with him in play. She would drop down into a crouch, look at him, and run around him in circles in that crouch run dogs do when they are particularly happy. She did this multiple times, and my friend's son just laughed and laughed. My Fiona is a big softie with kids. Fi and I both send our warmest regards, and she sends lots of doggie kisses your way.

She is the sweet pittie that was raised well and treated like a queen, so even flies are in no danger from this overgrown marshmallow. "Murderers". k... Mine is a red nose named Eva, almost 10 months old, and I trust her completely. Can't say that there aren't bad people raising these guys, but most of them are huge puppies.
Oh, she is easily the most spoiled dog EVER. We think she was abused by her former owners, because when we adopted her, the tip of her tail was all bloody, she was totally underweight, and I could see some scarring on her sides. She could sense my family and I were the exact opposite. We spoil her completely, totally love on her, and she is living her best life possible. Oh, it's SUCH a boop-able nose in this photo. I swear, I was won over the moment I saw her in the animal shelter I adopted her from. My mother, who was VERY VERY ANTI pitbull (Fiona is only half red nosed albino pitbull, as well as half boxer), wasn't far behind. She was going to give Fiona 2 weeks to see if she was one of those attack dogs or not, but Fi won over my mom in like 48 hours. She really does love her Grrrrrr-andma, and going to visit at her house. One of her favorite things in the world. She loves chasing Squirrels (not to kill them, she just loves to run after them), running around the property, and getting TONS of treats. Not that she doesn't get treats with mommy, but it'd always better when it's Grrrrrr-andma.
@@chriswendschlag1856 Fiona is certainly a momma's girl. She is the beloved of the family. My mom, stepdad, husband, and I all spoil and pamper her. She sleeps in bed with my husband and I at night, she has her own couch (we have a couch / loveseat set, and the smaller loveseat is HER couch), and she gets ALOT of cuddles, kisses, and petting. She is told every day how wonderful she is and how loved she is.

To me, the dog's build reminds me more of a boxer (dog) than the ferocious ball of muscle you see on TV and in movies. Her face is also different from TV pitbull. More like a regular hounddog. It trips me out how different these dogs can be and still be called pitbulls.
Interesting you should mention that. You appear to have a VERY good eye re: dog breeds. Fiona is actually 50% boxer, 50% pitbull. I tend to just use the pitbull for this channel because the channel's name would have been too long and wouldn't have sounded quite right. Plus, I got in the habit of it when I first got her because, before Fiona, my mom was terrified of pitbulls. Fiona is such a well behaved little angel that it only took a few days for my mom to decide that the sun rose and set on Fiona's furry backside. She was just apprehensive about being reminded that Fi is half pit. Now, my mom is totally over it, and Fiona helped her get over her pitbull aversion. Also, my insistence of calling her a pitbull mix whioe my mom would be cuddling with her helped alot, too. I guess it just stuck after that.
I do too, it makes her look exactly like the dog from "Little Rascals". Got that brown patch of fur around her left eye, and another brown patch of fur on the left side of her neck that is shaped like a heart. It's so awesome. Fi and I send our warmest regards, and Fi sends doggie kisses your way.
Yeah, I would have to agree with you wholeheartedly, that's most likely EXACTLY what she was thinking. To the best of my knowledge, she has never been around cows, especially those kind of cows - I could easily be mistaken, but my dad and I are mostly convinced they are Texas Longhorn cows. Don't quote me on it, as my dad and I could be wrong. They sure look like it, though. She is finally getting to a point where she is essentially accepting of them. She is always EXTREMELY curious about them, but she doesn't seem to be afraid of them, nor does she appear to see them as a threat, so all is well. Hope you are having a wonderful day. Oh, she certainly was. That is the most dangerous act you can expect out of THIS pitbull. In the 5 years since she came into my life, this is the most dangerous act she has ever committed. Is it any wonder why my mom is now considerably more open to pitbulls than she was before we got her? She SWORE we would never own a pitbull. Obviously, my Fiona changed my mother's opinion about the breed.
I take it yours wasn't too fond of the cows? Fiona was pretty confused and a bit protective at first, but now she is more curious and accepting of our bovine neighbors.

Oh, absolutely. That tail betrays her emotions every time. As soon as Fiona hears the words Grrrrrr-andma and food in the same sentence, Fi gets EXTREMELY excited. She is Fiona's favorite chef of all time, and she always gets generous helpings of whatever meat was made. Mind you, before Fiona came into our lives 5 years ago, my mother wanting absolutely nothing to do with pitbulls - even half pitbulls like Fiona (she is half red nosed albino pitbull, half boxer). She swore they were all crazy and would wind up snapping and killing everyone around them. The moment my mother saw this brown patch of fur in the shape of a heart on Fiona's neck a bit behind her left ear, she reluctantly decided to adopt her, which I had been doing everything in my power to convince her to do up to that point. My mom said she would give Fiona 2 weeks to prove herself - my mom was completely in love with Fi and was wrapped around her precious white paws inside of 48 hours. Even my mom's husband loves this dog, and he hates animals. I think that, if my dad lived close by to where I live, she EASILY cure my father of his fear of dogs. She is amazing with children, and when BABIES are around (under 24 months old) - she is an absolute Saint. She is also amazing with cats, which is why I also have a cat. I have always loved the name Rhiannon. Interesting, the meaning behind it. Fiona, interestingly enough, means "Fair / white", very appropriate, if I'm being honest, but I will also admit to being a bit biased, as gorgeous as my babygirl is.
