Hello everyone, I'm Gilly and I love making art. Be it sculpting, drawing, painting, etc. I'll make anything that calls out to me. My only limit is my creativity and my budget!
Yes! I will be making that other...person...opponent. Lol as far as the spoilers go I try my best not to say or show more than needed, but I can't really control what people wrote about in the comments. At least at that point my conscience is clean because it wasn't me who did it 😅
Haha trust me I know exactly what you mean, but I'm not the one who sculpted the heads for him. I'm not experienced enough with 3d sculpting to do it myself and these files were the best ones for the job I could find. There was only one statue I found that had some really similar hair to his manga look, but it was only one head where this file is 3 so it's got more options. And I didn't just do all 4 because that other head wouldn't look anything like the other 3 so it would have been weird lol.
It's an awesome costume for sure, I really love the black and white aesthetic both characters in this fight went with. A very yin and yang, good vs. evil motif but with the same colors.
Hi there! Honestly I've never watched HxH so I don't really have any attachment to the characters but even if I did want to make one as a commission or something, there aren't really any "child" sized 1/6 scale bodies that I know of that would work. I suppose maybe with some research I can find something but it's not easy finding resources for 1/6 scale figures that aren't the typical standard size and build.
Thank you! I did indeed think about making some, but I was a bit pressed for time as I wanted to get this video out the same week that the manga ended. I've been looking online for some files I could use and I'll probably end up making something in the future, perhaps when I make the next JJK character custom (Gojo's opponent in this battle)
Honestly I don't know what the body was called.but I wouldn't really recommend it for Toji anyways since it needed a lot of work and it's still not even big enough for him. Try the JIAOU Doll Seamless muscular pale body that ones probably the best bet.
This box and the die (yes I know, the actual plural is "dice", but I've always called the plural as "die") looks awesome! But you know what would be even better? (Yes, I'm saying it.) If there was a tiny figure of Gojo inside! I know. I know. I'm greedy! 😅
Lol I deed it would look pretty cool to have a gojo inside, and it very well could lol you'd just have to find a small enough Gojo figure that fits. I made this as a gift so I don't have it anymore but there's nothing stopping the new owner from doing so!
Hell yea lol it's unfortunate he doesn't wear it this way in the movie. When I saw the trailer with the sleeveless arms I thought "so close to perfect but no shoulder pads" 😅
Thank you! Honestly I never ended up releasing the STL just because after I printed it myself I noticed there were a few things I had to fix before I could see it as ready for others to print. Just small things really but I never got around to fixing them and just moved on. I don't mind sharing the files with you though if you still want them anyways.
I appreciate the kind words friend! For now I'm just trying to focus on building the content and enjoying what I do. The rest hopefully will work itself out over time lol
Thank you! Honestly I don't have any like for sure method to sizing, basically what I do is I import a model of a person and make it stand 12 inches tall in my 3d builder program, and then I base the size of the files around that. Sometimes they come out too big or too small so I have to reprint but eventually I end up with a size I like. I'll make sure I include some footage of me sizing my prints in a future video so you can see what I mean!
Update: the pieces fell off again so for better or worse I had to get rid of the entire statue. I had the wings just laying there for awhile before deciding to part with it due to all the hard work you put into it. Next statue, I think no pieces and just one giant mold so that way they don’t break off as easily. (I’m referring to the next statue we work on together, I have some ideas in the pipeline. Saw the video and wanted to say this statue looks really sick, looks almost hot toys grade.))
I was so confused for a second but I finally realized what you were referring to. I'm sorry to hear that man, did you knock it over again? Given how they connect going straight down I don't think the wings could have just fallen off on their own but I suppose it's possible. Heartbreaking to hear you had to get rid of it but whenever you're ready for another piece you know how to get in contact man. It's not very likely I'd be able to make something in one piece since my printer usually isn't big enough to accomplish that but I suppose it depends on what it is and what size you'd want it to be. I've never really had issues with things falling off my statues but I don't have anything with giant wings either so I guess that might make a difference. Also thanks for the kind words on this statue!
@@ninjagillyart of course, maybe next time magnets can be used instead of pegs, might make things easier to hold stuff down. I noticed in this video you are working with them.
@@phantomstar1248Yea I've been using magnets for a while but I don't think there's any strong enough magnets that would've held those wings down lol they each had more mass than the body they were attached to. Having a long peg would be the only thing strong enough other than it either all being one solid piece or just using an epoxy glue to bond the parts afterwards. But if I had done that, I wouldn't have been able to ship it out without the wings breaking in transit. It's a slippery slope when you have to worry about how to package items for travel unfortunately. And I'm not rich enough to be able to afford custom foam inserts made in factories lol at least not yet hopefully one day!
