More like the other way around. This was the birth of movement kings, at least the sliding movement and what not. If they added jetpacks today, it would be insane
Both of those games have severe limitations as far as skill expression. I actually played those both and the issue is that there is almost no momentum system. You can’t do anything to expand on the intended mechanics, or combine them in any meaningful way. Sure they are cool and unique, but if there is nothing to maximize.
Quite the opposite actually, these mechanics are either much harder, or actually impossible to pull off to the same degree on mnk as you do not have fine control of movement with only WASD. It is still doable but you lose out on lots of units wall bouncing, strafing, and wall looking

@@mal0_v1.0.0black ops 3 got the movement system from titanfall 1. i know thats factual because just look at the time line. -activision fires infinity ward cofounders -cofounders create respawn -both teams release movement based future shooters in the same year (titanfall and advanced warfare) -titanfall has a low proportion of players, but is well received by the community. advanced warfare is unanimously hated. -activision wants a new movement shooter. they see their first one only has double jumping and a dash function, while titanfall has speed boosts, wallrunning, mechs, multiplayer campaign, PvE mode and xray vision. -activision releases black ops 3. the improvements are wallrunning, mechs, xray vision, multiplayer campaign, PvE mode and speedboosts among other things. i wouldnt say the game “copied titanfall” but many of the aspects were just straight copy and pasted from titanfall. the timeline matches up pretty well to that as well.
Yep, there was a whole hidden community of absolute grinders on PlayStation. It got to the point where with the evolved movement mechanics and playstyle/meta, we were playing an entirely different game Vs the casual tdm kids. Was a blast while it lasted.
Better than titanfall? Better than apex? Its up to you and you shouldnt argue really stupid where you dont even consider points and call it cope, just enjoy what you enjoy and dont make pointless arguments, me personally i am on the bo3 side and think instantly being able to move fast is not as fun, but if you arent thats fine
Fr, we have just been trolling the same few people and instantly defend their game like it’s a religion. I’ve played those game before and have no issue with them lmao, I just like trolling the titanfall community especially because whenever movement gets mentioned they spawn in to say they have the greatest game of all time
