Thank you!! I have a 2005 Glastron with a 5L Volvo Penta. You made easy work for me although I made a bit more of a mess than you did! I used a 10mm socket inside the caps to keep the inner o-rings from traveling too far. You also mentioned a coke can for compressing those rings during reassembly. Great idea. I didn't have a can so I folded some tin foil and wrapped it around the cylinder. Just need to top off my reservoir then continue bleeding. No more leaks from the cap!
I for the life of me still cannot get that floor board brace bar in on the back sides of the boat. the transom pinches the boards down to floor too much to get under it.
Hey brother thanks so much for the video, helped me out. Would you be able to tell me where I can find the extender tool you have on the wrench itself? I have the tool just not the part that goes on with the bolts. Would really appreciate the help!
Extremely helpful, appreciate you taking the time to share information that made installation much easier, since the included SO CALLED instructions are a complete JOKE. Again, thank you sir for your efforts and time.
@@teammahaldotcom4264 yes its just like urs in vid, theres no spring when i remove the cap….. so it SHOULD have a spring? Correct? Thanks for the reply
Nice job explaining everything hitting all the main points. I just did one on my old OMC Cobra, I used that tin can trick to get the part with the 2 split rings and 1 o-ring in lubing it with T&T fluid. As long as the cylinder comes apart, this is a pretty easy job. The Cobra is similar to the Volvo with a few differences in the piston rod. There's a shop in Fla that rebuilds these (you send yours and wait for them to come back) I think they charge $550 for 2, but when the OMC kit with the o-rings is only $55, it pays to know how to do this yourself.
Great vid, thanks bro. Tried of waiting for local company to fit mine so doing it myself. Background music a bit loud in your clip so difficult to hear what you say sometines but I think I got most of it. Keep up the good work!
Made this out of fresh crushed roasted peanuts from the self serve at WFM ($2.00), bought some dark chocolate chips, honey and top with a touch of pink salt, froze for about 30 mins and 😋. Better than any store bought and easy to make. Purest peanut butter cup ever. ❤ and so filling. Barely ate what I made.
