The 7-10 split is not the most difficult spare to pickup .. a "Big 4" split is credited as being more difficult (and statistically is) and a "Greek Church (4-6-7-9-10) split has a significantly lower completion percentage than any other combination, making it most likely the most difficult split to pickup. While a 7-10 split has been picked up at least 4 times during televised competition, whereas the "Greek Church" spit and the "Big 4" splits have each only been recorded on television once. Interestingly, I have never picked up a 7-10 split myself, but I did pickup a "Big 4" split in league this year (almost everyone in the house came down to congratulate me) and I nearly picked up the "Greek Church" split this year in league as well (leaving only the 6 pin teetering). Just some fun facts about bowling and the difficulty of certain spares. Although it is certainly difficult, the 7-10 is not considered the most difficult, contrary to most common belief.
