Acoustic Solid! Beautiful TT. I was torn between the MPX Wood or a custom Graham Audio. Nothing in it to be honest, but the Graham is a one off so I went with that. I’d have been just as happy with the Acoustic Solid though. Beautiful machine and extremely high quality 🎵🎶
Sorry, hard for me to spend so much money in a vinyl turntable. I'm a sound lover, so I can spend few months of my (high) salary for a good pair of speakers and a good amp. But honestly, my ears won't make any difference between a tonearm unipivot 12" at this price and a much less expensive tonearm (or turntable).
I know they are sensitive speakers at 92dB but I couldn't find out what's the recommended amplification power for them. Do you know what's the recommended watts range is?
@@lordfarnesi But if I were to use a solid-state amplifier how much wattage is needed? I would hate to buy an amp with too much or too little power and destroy a driver
I have amplifiers with Accuphase (100 watts) and 211 tubes (22 watts), with both they work perfectly, I would move in that range with a certain quality and rest assured that I don't know it will break any driver. Greetings
I wonder do they use a real compression driver or a titanium twitter "fake" one and only attached a horn? Cause I hear no dynamics (well, there is some but not enough) and some "megaphone" effect.
@@lordfarnesi Sure, you are right. However just checked the specs, and they state: 1 x 1" titanium. These are 2-way loudspeakers. 10" woofer, and 1" twitter.
@@lordfarnesi hi thanks a lot for the kind reply I love anything of Wadia The sound and even more the look It seems something from alien technology Very nice indeed
How do you find these speakers for vocals? Do they suffer the ‘cupped hand’ effect of some other horns? I’ve commented on your videos before but I’m seriously lusting after a pair of hoRns now. Cheers!
In a beautiful system as this, is it possible not to be distracted by clicks and pops? I can't stand those noises, It's always been an issue for me (from 1976 to this day), though I'll always admit I love the size, playing time, and artwork of lp's. Congratulations!
