If you go into your ‘General’ settings by clicking the scroll wheel, you’ll see a section labeled ‘Time’. There is a ‘set time’ option you will use, but to access the manual setting, you need to first turn off ‘Automatic Time’.
They made Apple CarPlay available on Mack Anthem, Pinnacle and Granite models equipped with the Mack Infotainment system around 2020. No mention of the update to LRs or Android Auto, as of yet.
You would press in the scroll wheel on the right side of the steering wheel and go down to ‘settings’. From there, navigate to ‘general’ then ‘units and language’. Units should be changed from ‘standard’ to ‘metric (bar)’. Hope this helps!
@PremierTruckSales Hmm...I looked through ours and this settings are not there. We have "change language" and "time". The guy that changed it said those settings were there when he switched them and now they're not?
@@user-zt9iu2ly4c Our team suggests this may be a software issue, though they haven’t yet experienced this particular issue. They recommend speaking with your local Kenworth dealer and providing a VIN # so they can check on your software levels and potential updates/fixes.
Hey man I have a question what can cause the arm to go down slow like really slow. After picking about 240 cans at regular speed my arm starts to slow down any suggestions?
Depending on the system, it could be several things. Failing electrical components will sometimes act up more once they get hot. Mechanical components can also bind up after getting hot. (Labrie) Electric-over-hydraulic actuator for the hydraulic spool valve or electric signal for the arm down function. (Heil) Air shift cylinder for the hydraulic spool valve or air supply for the arm down function. Spool in hydraulic valve for arm down function could be sticking. Further from our team if your truck is a Labrie: Labrie uses an electric-over-hydraulic controlled spool valve for the arm functions. So… it could be an issue with that actuator.. There is a manual override on that valve for all the functions that can be used to verify. A properly trained technician can use that override to fully actuate the valve to test the speed of the arm. If the arm runs at normal speed with the manual override, then there is an issue with actuator or the signal going to it. If the arm still runs at a slow speed, then there is a problem with the hydraulic lines or arm up/down cylinder.
I just got my commercial class b license at age 20 couple months ago and now have a job driving a roll-off hoist truck, it's such a cool job in my opinion I really enjoy it! I drive a truck very similar to the one in the video, it almost looks exact! It. does the exact same thing with the cable how it picks up the dumpsters! Also having the 3 axles plus the smaller 4th axle. The truck I drive has a GVWR of 60,000, how much is this truck? Really cool video!
I would have wanted the hooker system over the standard strap binds, steel fenders are expensive but are 110% better looking if the driver gives a crap about the truck he will pay attention to front roller boxes and if leave the frame up a bit to dodge the damage to the fenders.
Hi bluekeet, Is your truck operating within the usual 8-12 second cycle time? If not, you may have a more specific issue, but we just wanted to make sure. Anything quicker than the recommended cycle time might jeopardize moving parts.
Is the Kenworth T280 and Freightliner M2 112 in the same class? Wondering for an RV hauler. I have seen more Freightliners than Kenworths but the Kenworth looked a little more luxurious but didn't have a big engine like the Freightliner.
What a beast, the Autocar ACX! I love the fact that this one has the X12 Cummins in it as well! Now, if possible, I'd love it if you could do a super long ASMR-style in-cab driving video on this truck, starting off with engine startup, then tons of city and highway driving, running up and down through the gears, then some neighborhood simulation with stops and starts, collecting of trash simulation with the Curotto, etc, then more city and highway driving, and finally with the truck shutting down. Please make sure there is no talking, just pure engine sounds from in the cab. I'm a huge fan of garbage trucks, and my favorite part is hearing them shifting through the gears, the different RPM's they shift at, etc. Plus, ASMR videos help me fall asleep at night, and I'd love some on an Autocar like this one! Please make it as long as possible, completely unedited so I can hear everything. For me, the longer the video, the better! Please let me know ASAP.
question comparing maintenance/failures between the Allison RDS and Detroit dt12 vocational/severe duty? I hear the DT12 is better for heavy haul BUT mostly highway, the Allison is better for off road where lack ofacceleration isn't a big deal
