I'm 52 and only just started watching this. It's a bit cheese on toast 😄 but the sentiment is fantastic.... maybe it should be made, again...an up to date version...Or maybe not 😉
I hope Jr. realizes those of us who grew up with Sr will never believe his portrayal of him! And he'll never be half the man his father ever was! Rip Michael Landon!
Beautiful, touching episode - even [Michael's character] shows us that angel Jonathan can have romantic/emotional feelings for the woman, which he struggles to contain. [Obviously, he has VERY good taste!!!].
Love Michael Landon and Victor French, love the issues Michael was raising in the late 80's and 90's. So very powerful and so relevant to these modern days, God bless Michael and Victor, what a brilliant duo
Dick Van Dyle is today very old and alive. Amazing Grace to see this episode. They used to say he was a workaholic and alcohol addiction actor. The other day he was photographed holding his great grand daughter.
It says „all seasons, all episodes“ here … 79 vids. But the show has 5 seasons and 111 episodes, I read on Wikipedia. Will you upload the rest also? I love this series!
Great episode, family orientated so they can be watched by the whole family which is rare these days. Really enjoyed the programme, brought a tear to my eye watching everyone pitching in to deliver the common goal. If only there were more family programmes like these nowadays. God bless the Micheal Landon fan who brought these programmes back, very enjoyable, clean cut and honest messages.
I don't think his son's movie is that bad. It was from his point of view as a teenager during a difficult time in his life. "Family friends" don't really know what went on in that house before and during the divorce. I think it was cathartic for him and maybe just possibly he would be more of an expert on his own father that he lived with than anyone else.
What a talented musician David Rose was, how well he both orchestrates Debussy's famous piece for piano and blends it with his original theme music for the show, the effect of the tempo increase (or is the orchestra playing shorter note values?) when Michael Landon gets out of his car to take one last look back is quite magnificently done and moving.
