I have owned nine Bertram's I wish they were the way they used to be with a nice interior I can't think of any other boat manufacturer that has had the ownership turbulence that Bertram has had I can't believe that nobody can get it right
Yo tuve el honor de trabajar 14 años en Bertram Yacht y llegue a ser Foreman de prototipo , me fui de Bertram en el año 1994, pude ver con que amor trabajaban todos sus empleados y la calidad era insuperable , pues habia un extricto control de calidad , y tenia muchos beneficios los cuales hoy en dia gracias a Dios y a Bertram tengo seguro por la factoria , tenia incentivos de cualquier trabajador que se le ocurriera algo para aumentar la productividad y la calidad , pedias en las oficinas una planilla y detallabas tu inventiva y si determinaban que en realidad funcionaba te regalaban $100 , yo casi todos los meses recibia una o dos bonificaciones de 100 dolares por mis ocurrencias
My dad owned 3 Bertram's, in the Caribbean he had a 31' and then a 38 foot. In Michigan he had a 1967 25 foot, the only new Bertram he ever owned. He passed away in 2015 but I still have the boat on Lake Michigan. It certainly is a conversation starter. It is 53 years young and I've had guys on huge yachts wolf whistle and declare "awesome boat!" as they cruise by.
I am weirdly aroused by the sight of sleek, sexy ass boats in rough water. Pounding forcefully through wet, wet oceans. Their massive diesel engines pumping hard and fast. Is it just me ?? Am I alone here ??

This boat is just like the rest not original just copied then a few changes. Me I'd rather go for a nordhavn or a outer reef, Marlow, or even the old man himself the Fleming.
I’m 51 yrs young and been inland boating since the day I was born in the UK. I lived on a 70ft boat with my parents for around 10yrs and I served my apprenticeship in boatbuilding (steel boats). I built my own 70ft boat in the UK and lived on it for a further 6yrs with my wife and first son. I moved to Australia in 2008 and bought my first Bertram 23 flybridge 6 months ago. I just want to say it’s the best boat I have ever had and has given us a lot of fun and pleasure so far with plenty of more good times to come. Thank you Bertram, yours boats are the best.
