You learned how to drop in??? AMAZING!!! I encourage you to take videos of your skate journey. They will become very precious to you, especially as your progress on wheels. I am so happy for you 🥹🥹🥹
Wide trucks are really fun, in my opinion! They are meant to help with locking in and grinding. I also feel very stable when skating with them! As always, I encourage everyone to do their own research on them to see if they would be beneficial 🤠 I hope you have a great one!
I don’t get how you don’t have more followers you are so talented I am also learning the type of style skating that you do and I learned how to drop in my second day😮 it’s really fun and I hope that you and me get to progress and become great skaters ❤❤❤❤
Hi there 😊 I appreciate you and your support. I am so proud of you for learning how to drop in! Dropping in can seem scary at first. But it becomes such a FUN skill I hope you enjoy challenging yourself on skates!!
@@sk8ertot I still am still trying to find the time to practice ontop of all the other stuff I need to do as a high schooler. I’m also trying to find a good place to place. But I’m enjoying it. I wish I had my license already then I could drive myself wherever I want to practice.
Any practice is better than no practice. Balancing schedules can tough, but you got this! My favorite saying is "balance is created, not found." I start skating outside without any parks. You can learn a lot from skating in parking lots or on trails!
my little brother, who's about to turn 58, skateboard s on EventHorizon40. I've never been as good, but I used to rollerskate a lot many years ago. unfortunately, I've not had the time to really live life lately.
Currently working on better toe stop stalls and being comfortable going backwards.... do you suggest knowing how to skate backwards before pumping on ramps?
I think being comfortable moving backward is always going to be a plus! A big part of my skate journey is being confident and knowing hall to fall / bail safely if I need to!
It's a basic footwork drill that can be used as a blocker or a jammer, although maybe slightly more often used by jammers to squeeze through tight spaces on the line. And yes, get some unheeled skates and join a derby league immediately! Best decision you'll ever make.
