@@forbiddenmilk4289 when in battle, samurai were known for their skill and decisiveness but also the brutality. one common practice among lords was the removal of all their enemy's heads to be presented to the daimyo that won. they often dismembered and decapitated their enemy in battle, and their blades were sharp enough to put a man in two, i'd say that's pretty ruthless. yes they were men of honor, but in a warzone honor means something else entirely
