awww! thank u! i appointment getting back to me so f a s t !! what brand of needles do u recommend? i saw a needle u use has a brownish plastic color ? u have ordered my needles on amazon. love all the information u put in ur videos ❤️😊
What is your fav needle for liner & shading ( all in one ?) Or should I use one to outline ( which one ?) & what needle to use for shading ? Is there any you suggest for beginners? So much appreciated all the videos you do ! ❤ Grateful ❤
That’s a really good question. The answer is -it depends. It is recommended to be able to do an entire brow with a 1RL needle. But that doesn’t mean you have to- just that you should be able to before graduating to different needles. Personally, I find that I use a 1RL for the outline and first pass and then switch the a 3RL for the rest.
Good morning 💓what lights do you like to work with ? There’s the ring light , then there a light that looks like a half moon & then I see I have 2 to 3 light bars in a rectangular shape . Thanks ❤
I don't like the ring light or the half moon one. I use a double headed glamcor. they are expensive but you can find a knock off brand that is much cheaper and they work great!
Hi ❤most of my clients are mature skin . In ur opinion what needles ( size , brand do u recommend) I real appreciate all ur information! ❤ never was informed about the way the needles are shaped for shading verses liner . Fascinating! Makes so much sense ❤
You can use other needles for shading however, it's important that an artist can master an ombre brow using a 1RL needle first which is why we were showing that in this step by step video.
Thank so much for explaining ❤️it seemed the video was over ? That was brilliant explaining the needles with an example with pencils 🌺Maybe u can do more videos ? It’s very much appreciated 🙏
I know it's hard to show so we thot the pencils would help. We have a TON of videos. And we are about to launch our NEW online ombre brow course. If you're looking for more education here is the link for the pre-sale discount ➡️ bossbrowsla.com/shop/ols/products/pre-sale-online-ombre-brow-course
Had mine done five years ago and the ink retention is still pretty good although I have to make them up now when going out . Thinking of having them done again next year but not looking forward to the healing process , although I healed well the itching drove me absolutely CRAZY 🤪 😂
I have been having a hard time lining up my microblading head and body lines. They feel so uneven for my eyes. But the clients are happy. How can I correct this
I'm not sure if I understand what you mean... are you talking about creating a clean baseline? if so, maybe this video will help ➡️ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5Wcm0F9_8SQ.html
wow that was super matching......but living in india its hard to achieve a beautiful warm tones as alot or majority of clients have rich melanin skin with cool undertones.......thank u so much
When you purchase the Tina Davies aftercare serum it comes with the cards. Or you could make your own. We actually made our own which has some other info on the cards but the Tina Davies ones work great also.
Yes! body position is important. You always want to practice how you plan on working on the client. I do the right side upside down and the left side across the body (which means im facing them) so that's the way I practice.
@bossbrowsla the videos seem to be for people who already have an understanding of what these tools are used for, and are doing. and the end result. personally, I'd love to watch more videos on these techniques but I don't even understand what you're doing. I'd reccomend making the videos beginner friendly to build a bigger audience . Could take off as oddly satisfying or just with some different editing. It's a great idea for content. You're really onto something
May I ask what speeds you were using? I have a difficult time finding the right speed, but I just learned after watching your video I am only using 6 for everything, which is giving me a lot of pigment and saturation.
That’s such a good question and not a simple answer. I can tell you that you want a faster speed when using a whip motion and much slower speed when doing a zig zag or reciprocal movement. However everyone’s PMU machines are different and everyone has different hand speeds. So basically you want to match the hand speed to your machine speed. Here is a video that may be helpful 👉🏻 m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vJ13X9onTx8.html&pp=iAQB
Most of the time for those that have not had a tattoo done before, for the patch test, does that happen all in one day to see the reaction before proceeding or do you have them wait 24 hours til their next appointment to officially start their service ?
I’ve only had one client who was allergic to epinephrine. So we just didn’t numb her. You just want to make sure to ask if your client has any allergies in your paperwork. You could always do a patch test first to see if there is an allergy if you’re concerned.
I feel like that is really fast. Some people heal faster and depending on your age, (younger people's skin turns over faster) that could happen. However, I would ask your artist at your touch up appointment.
😮 I’m doing the wet healing but when you said not to smother them with ointment I raced to the cotton tips and wiped off allll the excess ointment. I’m shocked how much I put on.
This is soo helpful - But 1 question how would you measure the end of the tail on say: a client who's eyebrows finish short before the corner of the eye? i.e how do you assure that you are getting the line flush at the right angle (not too far down to the temple as you say)? Thankyou for your amazing content x
that is a good question. Some of my other brow mapping videos go over that a little better. I have a ton of brow mapping videos so check those out. This one may help too. ➡️ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WFY8OnD53JY.html However, I will say. I like to stick to the clients natural brow as much as possible. so if they don't have much of a tail, I might extend it a little but I wouldn't go all the way to where the end of the brow is "supposed" to go just bc it might look too forced since the client doesn't have any hair there. That is totally up to you as the artist though.
How long do you wait to use the aftercare ointment? Do you use it the very same day you had microblading done? Or do you have to wait a few days for them to heal before you can apply it? My aftercare card just said "do what the esthetician says" but she didn't say exactly when to use the ointment and I don't want to put it on too early!
What about i got nanoblading and results was good for me it almost disappear except 40% from it so i got refill session after 35 days but i feel so bad now i did it 16 days ago and my eyebrows still so heavy and didnot fall like before retouch session what can i do now to decrease this scabbard eyebrows??
There are a couple reasons people get bad retention: skin type (oily, sensitive, etc), poor execution of the service (artist's ability) or poor aftercare. If microblading doesn't work for you bc of skin type you could always try an ombre brow.
It just broke off this morning. I used a straight edge but they were temu cheap. I don't want to learn on dixon. It's hard to do but I'm an eyebrow freak.
Great question. we have an entire online course for this ombre brow procedure. it's coming out soon. Malorie has started doing this zig zag technique which I had never been taught in any classes id ever taken. It leaves a softer more blended look. She goes over how to use this technique in our procedure video. I haven't posted it yet... still editing. stay tuned. short answer: in the body of the brow (middle part)
we use the brow code developer. depending on the color you want the mixtures will be different. I believe on their website they have a cheat sheet that is great.
