Moral: There's always someone who has it worst than you. I remember for years i thought the lyric about the girl who didn't want to change in front of others was "she had bitemarks all over her body" and it was really disturbing.
He's saying Mm mmm mmm , like Shame...shame...what a shame...the parents or nobody else taught the kids anything...they didn't know shit.. And then it's talking about the False Light Treacherous LIE of the church that he was getting entrained institutionalized into... He couldn't quite explain it... They've always just..gone there... How much were they actually concerned with teaching him? If they did it would be misleading. He had to go straight home after school, instead of playing with friends... Over Sheltered by his Christian parents rules, withdrawn from peers, emotional neglect at home, and then that stupid fake ass speaking in tongues and rolling around on the floor...they were in the spirit sure, but it wasn't the Holy Spirit. Those people are possessed. Nobody explained to the kid why his hair turned white... The girl Thought something was wrong with her because she had "birth marks": and nobody told her why ... Complete Mental and emotional neglect Child Abuse. Mmm, mmm,,, mmm 😾
This song is saying to accept people for who they are or what they look like due to their circumstances. We shouldnt have to explain ourselves to anyone for who God made us to be. Acceptance is key here. Judge not lest ye be judged. Matthew 7:1
Such an underrated song from my childhood, and so easy to be forgotten. I have no clue what or how it popped into my mind but im so glad it did cause I live the perspective as an adult.
Jesus said to wait in Jerusalem until they received power from on high and on the Day of Pentecost tongues of fire came on them and they all spoke in tongues. Tongues are another language. It is explained as the language of men and of angels in the New Testament of the Bible. After they were baptised in the Holy Spirit they had boldness and began going throughout the world preaching the good news that Jesus was raised from the dead just like he and the prophets said he would be and that anyone could receive forgiveness for their sins if they confess their sins, obey Jesus teachings and quit sinning. Then they will be cleansed of all their unrighteousness. Furthermore they need to wait in the same way the disciples did until they receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. That promise is for you, your children and all who are far off.
A masterpiece highlighting that the extremely unnecessary and fanatic indoctrination and social engineering of dogma is more destructive to the psyche of children than the peer pressure to explain things about themselves that are beyond their control.
Ha never knew the name of the band who sang this song. Until now. Yes, the lyrics are a bit weird even though they carry a deeper message, maybe about tolerance..? And this fragment about birthmarks.. Not bruises but birthmarks. Need to listen to other songs by this band now😊
Isn't that what people do? You say I have this kid who is always ..... And people say mmmmmmmmm Then I had this boyfriend who always....... And people say Mnmmmmmmmmmm And then I had a wife who said she'd kill me and kill the kids to and so told the police man her name was Lori Vallow And they said Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
