Nice video. When I try color calibration I get an error message that says it cannot plate solve. Do you know what causes this error? Thanx for the info.
I had the original mini se then I thought was an upgrade with the mini 2se but to find out it's not compatible with the litchi app. If I wouldhave known, I wouldn't have bought it. The original mini se with the litchi app was far more versatile and fun, capable of so much more.
I know you're working in windows, but I am a linux user. For the life of me, I cannot find the folder/directory to put my scripts into once I've downloaded them. This has already taken me about 6 hours more than it seems it should have.
Hello AstroBudget, I have the same scope, I'm pairing it with the ASI533mc pro. My problem is while imaging, my stars are bloated with blue halos, the brightest stars. Any idea why this is happening? I'm not using any filter wheel, nor filters. Im using NINA, PHD2 for guiding, my mount ZWO AM3, WITH great quiding RMS 0.45", i have a good focus curve HFR 2.18. looking forward to your feedback.
1 minute...if you dont check it, please see the description .....f*** bullshit....nerving music, wisch here wisch there, unsharp...nobody needs such tutorials🤮
This is the most educational (BEST) videos I have ever seen on RU-vid, on topic, easy language, quick and exactly on subject. I am seriously impressed and thankful!
I found your video after watching several others that wanted me to either use photoshop, or $300 pixinsight. Gimp ftw! Short and quick video, thank you!
How can you possibly call this a beginner friendly video when me as a beginner don’t know how you even stacked the image to begin with. You went right into opening the stack image. How did you do that? How do you create a stack image?
superb vid and straight to the point , im not guiding yet but hope to get sorted very soon , currently using HEQ5pro mount 150-600mm Sigma and Nikon Z6 , love NINA for plate solving and 3 star polar align feature so cant wait to get guiding now
This is so helpful in speeding up the stretching process. I like to go back to Asihn after histogram transformation to set my black point. Like you, I prefer a darker background.
I'm starting to investigate on how to improve my polar align. I have an EQ3-2 with tracking motors but it is not Go To so it cannot be controlled by NINA right ? But is it possible to still do the plate solving with NINA and my setup ? By moving the axis manually maybe ?
Can't platesolve with this filter in place. Not enough stars despite playing with exposure and gain settings.. If platesolving without the filter there's no problem. When putting the filter in afterwards Not enough stars are picked up to stack the images. Bit of a chicken egg situation that can't be solved. Can't understand why everyone loves this filter.

EXACTLY which version of photoshop are you using? I downloaded the photoshop from the App Store on a iPad and doesn’t look like anything you have on your screen. Very first time trying to post-process but failing miserably. Tried downloading AFFINITY also but my screen is different than the tutorial. Just looking for something easy to start with and not frustrating. I just need to get pointed in the right direction. Can you help me? I just purchased a VESPERA PRO and haven’t used it yet ( clouds for the past week) and have a SEESTAR S50 that I have been trying unsuccessfully to process. I am doing all this on a IPAD PRO.
So must a tutorial look like: short, precise, less words, precise mouse tracking, few steps.....fine!! thank you (and lets forget most if the turorials in youtoube ;-)
Honestly the hardest part about editing images is just learning how to write the files so you can get them in siril in the first place. Have you done an indepth video of this process? For us computer noobs?
