Simple Programmer is focused on helping software developers, programmers and other IT professionals improve their careers and live better lives. One thing I learned from year of consulting and coaching software developers is that increasing your technical aptitude is not enough.
In order to really succeed as a software developer-you need to be well rounded.
You'll find the content at Simple Programmer to be holistic in nature.
That means you are just as likely to find articles about improving your career as you are to find articles about developing your people skills, getting in shape and tackling the mental aspects of being a software developer.
My goal for Simple Programmer is not just to help you get a better job and make more money-although I certainly want to do that-but to help you improve in all areas of your life.
Have used it for 2 weeks, but the Software Display Pilot 2 is absolutely awful and it's also ugly and looks like a tank. Just get the Studio Display if you have the money and use MacOS.
There are so many people who promise to help others exactly as you. And here comes the main question: You say you helped and are helping lots of people, so this means you need to have have hundreds of calls every week, so you must be doing A LOT of work. If you are financially independent yourself, why do you do this kind of work? Or the people who are working for you now :)
I absolutely agree. You should try to learn some programming languages based on your specific interest language because this 2024 and moving forward it will be like a future moving on. For me, truth and honest, you are an amazing, truthful human being. Sorry, this is not related to this topic. Im relating this to your archive videos long way... We do make mistakes and have that part in life we reached that challenging point. This is also good way you are really sharing you moments to us and we understand. And I have an amazing idea to share, this is also the reason when I watched your videos the way that do, the way that you show your body physique with the Bulldog Mindset it gave me an inspiration to move on my struggles. As of this moment, just a share and honest, there some programmers in the world that are totally focused and locked themselves up probably int eh basement, never got out.. or just focus on just coding.. coding.. and coding.. without realizing it gives them burnouts... As in burnouts in mental health breakdown because we know there are many problems when solving problems through programming.. Now, while other programmers, it is true that are still single and could not get a girlfriend.. So now, moving forward past on that history... Why not just make a program that is related to "Mental Mindset: Muscles & Programmer"? Or probably you can call it Mental Mindset: Love for Muscles & Coding? Because when I watched your videos that really gives me an inspiration... Coders and Programmers often spend more time coding for many hours without realizing they have hit their point... "Im burnout, im not gonna code anymore", "im burnout, but not motivated to code", "im burnout, im going to take a vacation..." (after taking a vacation you end up getting more burnout... which is hilarious), etc... All of these examples there are a lot of out there... But the way you do it, you do bodybuilding and at the same time do programming/coding.. How do you keep yourself do both of these? How do stay mentally health when doing both? What is the key achieving those steps? There are coders/programmers out there they spent a lot of hours and hours just coding and burnouts... without realizing they also need to keep their body and mental mindset healthy. As for me, this the greatest example you have showed us that you can do both! You have that Strong Mindset, staying in good shape.. Which is really good, and staying on top of it to continue coding/programming without having burnouts... I think this is good way to give us Guidelines and hacks? Like if you spend sometime Coding/Programming how much hours do you spend on coding? And then how many hours you spend time doing bodybuilding and getting that Strong Physique Body & Strong Mental Mindset? Because the way I also realized in many Tech Companies most of coders/programmers are only focused mentally... As you also mentioned on some of your old/previous videos... You cannot just have a full focus on mental mindset and just working your brain muscles... it is also important to keep your body strong and healthy physique as well.. Because at the end of the day You will have an amazing transformation on having Awesome Mental Mindset and Strong Body Physique!!
Missing the point - it is NOT worth for the person asking to learn data science unless he has an idea that makes it worth within 3-5 years max. That is the timeframe that current AI researchers of the top labs think it takes for AI to replace... THEM - and they are top of the line. By then data science is an "ask an ai" job for cents of the dollar.
Probably what this person is dealing with is someone that's task orientated, probably introverted and clashing with their manager who i'd bet is relationship orientated and the opposite personality type, and is trying to make this person act the way they do. It's not really so much that this employee is a bad apple, they probably just hate their boss. Firing them is certainly an option, but it's a terrible option. I'd bet if you switch them to a team with a manager that's different to this one you'll find they suddenly become a top performer. For what it's worth, you'll also find this type of "lack of social skills" show up in people who are much more decisive, and those personality types tend to end way up in company higher management because the have a much stronger competitive streak and a bias towards decision making that makes them come over as good execs but very cold hearted. This would be the "asshole" boss stereotype. It's just personalities. It's not something your mother teaches you.
I've felt like an impostor ever since I got into IT because I'm almost exclusively self-taught, and I didn't get a college degree until a couple of years ago. Now I'm branching into blogging and photography and the experience of having come thorugh that impostor syndrome has given me the confidence to move ahead.
You haven't even read these books completely in order to make a proper analysis. Your video is baseless and useless to those looking for actual advice on what C++ books to purchase! Thanks for wasting our time!
dude , are you reviewing the monitor or your face? i only saw the monitor on the whole video like a 2% of the whole video. This is the problem with most youtube who are so in love seeing themselves on their own video.
You came to the Punisher for a Monitor review. What did you expect? Jokes aside, how exactly will looking at a monitor using your existing setup help you with the look & feel of the monitor being reviewed?
I'm not a programmer but after talking to a couple of the guys I work with who are I got a LG DualUp and completely understand why they love it for programming. I have a 16:9 for most stuff and use the DualUp for for text based stuff. I can see 3:2 (or 4:3) being a nice middle ground and the specs on the monitor look pretty good but I think I'd stick with the DualUp over this.
Just finished your audio book “The complete software developers career guide” and really enjoyed it. So I’ve come and subscribed to your RU-vid channel. First off, this won’t affect my long term opinion of you and I will continue to follow you here, however I have to say I’m quite disappointed in you the audio quality. Maybe I’m being picky, I just feel the lack of quality assurance goes against everything I just listened to in you your audio book. Probably just a one off error on your part and I still look gory to your next video.
@@simpleprogrammer I’m sorry, I feel guilty for even writing that. Being a broadcast engineer I’m sure I have a much more critical ear than most and the quality is probably fine to an average listener. My apologies for being overly critical.
New to Stackoverflow. Came here to figure out how to build rep. Right now I can't do anything because I have no rep. Can't build rep because I can't do anything. Seems like a bit of a conundrum.
hi, i did work for 2 years as web developer with angular but i'm still as a slow programmer. actually i'm unemployed and is hard to get a new job because al hackercoderange exercise that put me at interviews, i fail and almost all the time i failed is for time issues. seriously im felling so much frustration
