You've been in Richmond for far too long, I understand the loyalty. Be kind to yourself, and head to Toronto & Markham with both classical & and high-end dim sum places in 2024. It will change your opinion fairly quickly on where to have the best dim sum in North America without any doubts.
Chef Tony is the worth dim sum restaurant. There is one in Los Angeles. The selection is limited. Over price and food is not good at all. Seriously question your taste.
Just FYI.... Walkers was NOT ripped off from Lays, Walkers existed LONG before Lays was even a thing! lol 😂 Walkers was founded in 1948 in Leicester, England, by Henry Walker. In 1961, the Frito Company, founded by Charles E. Doolin, merged with Lay’s, forming Frito-Lay Inc and started making Lays chips (or crisps as we call them here in the UK) The Walkers family sold the business in 1970 to American food producer, Standard Brands. In 1989, Walkers was acquired by Lay's owner, Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo. THAT is why they look SO similar and why they are almost identical but the OG, the numero uno, the one, the only and the crisp/chip that started it ALL, is and WAS Walkers! 😁 Just a lil bit of history for you guys 🙂
You can’t go to Hong Kong now due to vivid restrictions if you’re unvaccinated but you can just cross the oak st bridge to Richmond and experience “Hong Kong” in our very own back yard of Richmond BC
You called Pakland Restaurant one of five best Chinese restaurants in Richmond? Well, they went out of the business. No Chinese goes to that shitty place.
