Murray has the greatest character development. He went from being a cowardly lion in Sly 1 to this unstoppable force in Sly 2 giving everyone the fade. By two punches they are gone to the upper room
I like to think that Sly was the one telling the truth and Carmelita was making stuff up because she didn't want to face the past until the end when she came to terms with it. It makes their relationship all the more sweet in my opinion. Sly is not only helping her with her job but also helping her grow as a person.
Something I realized recently (And I wished I put in the video.) is that in their final moments. Carmelita made an inherently selfish decision by lying. While Sly made the most selfless move by giving access to the vault. Both were done for each other.
@@adamshadow9881 While Sly did lie as well about having amnesia, that was interesting character development for both of them. Sly finally decided to follow the law by becoming a police officer and Carmelita broke a rule by taking advantage of someone who she thought lost their memory. Usually something like that would be the other way around. I do think that the fake amnesia thing does work when we take into account that they're both lying. Also my original comment was referring to the comic.
My VERY unpopular opinion: World Tour is not that good at all. World Tour has more character derailments, then characters getting better. And Those Derailed Characters got UNNATURALLY extremley early boots. The Characters that got better: - Heather - Cody - Noah - Tyler The Characters that got DERAILED like crazy: - DJ - Lindsay (unpopular opinion) - Leshawna (most derailed tbh) - Bridgette - Harold - Gwen - Duncan?

Durablity Jasper > Bismuth Jasper tanked more attacks, been prisoned underwater, been blown up twice and got an uppercut by Lapis water powers miles away. Bismuth been poof’d by one stab wound of Rose Quartz blade. Strength Bismuth < Jasper Bismuth have been showed to casually spar with all the Crystal Gems accept for Steven and hold her😮 own. Jasper has a 1-1 record against Garnet, 1-0 record against Pearl and a 2-0 record against Amethyst. Also she took down allot of Wuartz soldiers apon waking up. Weapons Bismuth > Jasper Jasper only has a Gem Destabilizer and a War Helmet while Bismuth can shape shift her arms until anything she wants. IQ Bismuth < Jasper Jasper knows how to exploit weaknesses and ways to win while Bismuth holds her own. Battle IQ Bismuth < Jasper Jasper was the best Quartz soldier of Pink Diamond army and successfully taking out other Quartz soldiers while Bismuth made weaponry for everyone.
I hated Sky and Dave’s relationship because no matter how many times she said no, he kept trying to make her his own. He doesn’t care about him. Just the idea of being with him. It’s just like Titan said,”You’re supposed to be with me!!
I never really thought about seeing Mordred like that, it's pretty interesting. That does sound brutal, feeling the pain of killing his friend over a fate he had no control over. Brutal world for the infected man
My favorite episode out of the entire series is A Tangled Web because I loved the big heist “High Road” just because there’s so much going on and it all goes completely wrong according to Bentley’s plan and they still manage to steal the Clockwerk eyes from the Contessa.
And totally agree with the Catch the Rainbow arc, I would say that’s when SBR really started to figure out where it wanted to go and hit its stride and actually got me really invested in the mystery of the corpse, Valentine, and figure out more about Johnny & Gyro (which are perfect deuteragonsts imo)
I would argue SBR is overhyped, it’s a great part and I think it has the best character work and design but people make it seem like it’s the only part that matters in JoJo’s like it’s a biblical text, it’s a great part but I would say it’s on par with JoJolion, Stone Ocean & Vento Aureo
