I can't believe that the rich douche bag actually said he was going to "demonstrate the true darkness of the world" to Renne freaking Bright, of all people. That girl has been exposed to the worst the world has to offer since she was 9. For how often they're viewed as the bad guys of the series, Ouroboros, with a few major exceptions (f**k you, Weissman), has saved more innocent people than they've killed. Lest we forget, it was Joshua and Loewe, Enforcers 2 and 13, who saved Renne from Paradise and reduced that hellhole to a smoldering crater.

I love how far 8 leaned into the Sci-Fi1. Dont get me wrong, FF SHOULD BE mainly High Fantasy, but for 8 this was a nice change of pace. My absolute favorite of the PS-Era💯
I have started this mode and I have only had problems when playing as Dana back in her era and it seems that stuff doesn't drop like that by the time I go to this part i was pretty much maxed out on items

I'm not talking about Wing meteor, I'm talking about mag +60% with ultima junctioned. As long as they're meltdowned it ends up being 30 meteors at 1.2-1.4k damage each.
Glad you use the holy trilogy of Squall, Irvine, and Quistis, but this whole battle could have gone a lot quicker if you just used Cerberus once you had them, cast triple aura on the party, then used Quistis to cast holy war straight afterwards. Immune to all attack, you can just pulverise her with limit breaks.
Finally, Shuuji stops being such an ass to Lopmon. That was legit stressful to watch him verbally and then physically abuse Lopmon, it's like watching someone hurt a toddler.
I know he's an easter egg from ff7, but lorewise I always likedto think of him as a weapon created by ff8's planet, Squall and the gang are so deep in the earth they found green rocks that could be materias but this planet lifestream isn't well developed to be like the one in ff7 so the planet could only produce one Weapon to protect itself.
