Hello! Should I keep braiding the younger stems of my lucky bamboo? If yes, how? I saw only videos of shaping/designing cut stems not potted plant. Thank you!
Hi. I am trying to grow two of these as trees that I got this spring and planted in large pots. Last week with temperatures in the 90's in Atlanta, one of them started getting brown leaves and dropped 2/3 of its leaves (green and brown). Only the top leaves are remaining and they have brown edges. The one that is apparently dying gets direct sun from 12-4 while the one that is doing fine so far only gets direct sun from 2:30-5:30. I use a moisture meter and I didn't let the get completely dry, but I didn't want to overwater either. I have been fertilizing it, and I added an acidifier to the potting mix. Maybe it's different for plants in pots, but I did try mulching a third one that already completely died. Planting it in the ground isn't an option. Any advice? Thanks.
It sounds like the plant is not used to high temperatures. I will recommend moving it in an area that gets sun in the morning or a few hrs late afternoon. It should come back fine once it gets used to its new location.
Its been 1 month i buy this plant and this plant started to dying it's leaves are turning yellow and and ultimately shedding I don't understand i tried everything possible care what did i miss what else can i do please help ..!!
I am having problems too. Not with the leaves turning yellow, but brown, and then losing almost all of its leaves. I have seen online that yellow leaves are from overwatering.
I do the water method too but I also transplant a bunch of them into a large pot filled with soil then after a few weeks I transplant them to another are in my yard and garden. They look beautiful!
Thank You Ma'am 👏👏👏😁☺️❤️♥️👍 This Is A Help For Me ,. Learn How To Repot My Plant,. I Just Got This Plant The Bringing Of This Month,. I'm Learning Now... 😁☺️ But Now Learning How To Transplant It Too.. Thank You Again...
Please make sure to use a good loose soil mix that will not keep too much water. I do not have a particular brand to recommend. I used to just be able to use Miracle-Gro indoor potting soil but after Covid the quality of the potting soil has deteriorated.
Hi, I just purchased some tulips from the store. I planted them in flower pots with soil, and I watered them. Also, I'm praying they live inside my house this is my little experiment for 2024 they're my favorite flowers. Wish me good luck
First time to see this. The time 4pm on Sunday, February 25.My Majestic Palm will be 1year old this summer. I live in Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦. No one told me how to grow it or take care of it. Kept it outside all summer and took it in the house in the fall as soon as temperature was getting too cool. About October I noticed the leaves turning brown so I cut the branches at the trunk and hoped for the best. Now the tips are brown and I see on your video what and how to take care of that. How often should I water the plam in the house until summer? What should be the temperature outside before I can put it out and leave it out? Sorry this is so long, like I mentioned I have no one to help me. Thank you in advance for your time and great video. 👍
I water my palm once every two weeks during the fall and winter and then bring it outside when the temperature is at least consistently 65 degrees Fahrenheit. The leaves turns brown due to lack of humidity, so try to place it indoors near a humid area or near other plants.
I received mine the same way … Unfortunately I placed them in an Aroid mix . One made it and the other 2 started Wilting. So I placed them in water , Keeping my fingers crossed Hoping they’ll liven up . To much Stress while being shipped Then planted directly in soil Then In water so I’m leaving them Alone under a grow light . Any advice is certainly welcome. Thank you .
I live in las vegas which is arid hot summer time most of my plants died due to the harsh heat but this perennial plants survive well with beautiful flowers every morning. The flowers wilt in the evening but new blooms in the morning.
I bought one of these and i was like “hmm yes propagation” cut off a leaf and the while thing started dying and becoming black. But that god i got three thriving stems in the water propagating and i cannot wait to pit them in soil
just purchased a Money Tree plant in a 10 inch pot with drainage. I poured one litre of Water and a little came out of the drainage holes. But my moisture meter indicated the earth as dry. Does this mean i didnt pour enough water?
The moisture meter might be sensing a certain dry spot. I would test a different spot if the result would be the same. If still dry, then I would pour more water.
To me, the sign is if it keeps on yellowing or does not show new growth even if you are giving the same exact care or water you've been giving the plant before. Every 2 years is good, at least from my experience.
@FoodArtTravel I have a small Peace Lily in a 6 inch Pot. When I water it the water drains out of the pot quickly. But the Plant is Healthy with new leaves growing.
I'm not sure how cold it gets in your zone. What I would do is to take some cuttings during the winter and bring it inside. I'll put it on the ground when spring comes.
Thanks for videos. Soo when you seperate it will go bigger agian and make more flowers?? Maybe stupid question but my first time i got a peace lily. Thanks
My corn plant had root rot! 😢 so I am propagating it. It was not nearly as mature or thick as yours. I took a clipping from the very top to avoid the rot that was on the stem. Do you think that would work?? It is one of my oldest plants and I'm hoping it will make it 😭🤞🏾
