Beautiful instrumental version of "Stella By Starlight" by Geoff Love and his Orchestra. Love the lush string violins in the background. Only Percy Faith's version do I think is superior. When ever I hear this melody, I always think of the lovely Gail Russell, who portrayed Stella Meredith in "The Uninvited" in 1944.

I love this Anthony Newly musical and wish it would be revived. There are some truly great songs here and the play itself chronicles a Politician and his wife. In 1996, A+E aired a special studio version of this Staring Stephanie Zimbalist Small ( Remington Steel) and Peter Scolari ( the Second Newheart show) performing this!
