I have one same year, same color garage kept with 17k miles on it. Thinking of putting it up for sale in couple months. April/May, Great bike hate to get rid of it ! 😢

Nice job, although, for myself, I don't like the tassel seats and think it would look much nicer stock or with a seat without tassels. Otherwise everything else looks great.
love that silver color- wish they weren't so limited thru the years. picked up my 2012 in May of 2014 with 1909 miles on it; now sitting at 81500 and bringing plenty of smiles to my face.

Not necessarily true, if you sand or blast the chrome finish off, then I agree they will flash rust on a bare metal surface. This isn't what was done here. The chrome surface is being altered with fine scratches, but it's not being removed. I had the bike out in all kinds of weather with no issues.
All the aftermarket exhaust people make performance claims but never backed up by Dyno specs. All the ones I've seen actually decrease performance and have that awful droning sound. Noise isn't horsepower. I know some will disagree, and if so, SHOW ME THE DYNO PROOF or Dragstrip quarter mile time proof. I've watched my friends waste lots of money on aftermarket pipes for a GL1800 and none of them keep them on for long. Especially after the bikes with stock pipes consistently bust them on the street.
I have a custom painted ‘97 Valk with 106,000 miles. I have three other bikes so the Valk doesn’t get ridden too often. About the time I start thinking I should sell it, I take it for an overnight ride in the Smokies and fall in love with it again.
Hey Don , nice out come , I just picked up Valkyrie for Song , I am going through everything since it has been sitting for about 3 years , it is good bike just need to lots of elbow grease to bring the chrome to shine again go to the brake system clean them new fluids oil change, carb clean extra , quick question, I like your new handle bar , how makes it and where did you get it ? Thanks
