I'm seeing that's the preference of a number of folks that are kind enough to follow the channel. So I'm here to entertain! I know a few from that era to say the least bit I wasn't as influenced by the 80s as I was the 90s. It's weird because I feel like I'm playing too aggressively on a lot of em. Or....I dunno. Something like that LOL! Tha k you my friend!
First time I heard this song was when I rented the "Historia" VHS, it had every video clip right up to the "Hysteria" album. Was surprised to see Rick was a traditional grip player before the unfortunate accident, there wasn't a ton of drummers in Rock using that type of grip. He was pretty young when he started too, the band would either have to sneak him in to the venues or lie about his age as he was about fifteen or thereabouts. Great drummer, even without the left arm.
On point with your comment! Yes, he was a different breed before his accident and was an amazing (VERY young) drummer and became the inspiration he is today. These songs are iconic. And he nails them to this day.
@@TreyBDrums Rick's great. I'm always impressed by how the band kept him on, even after losing a limb; he had an idea how to carry on and the other guys waited until he could develop it, hence the big gap between "Pyromania" & "Hysteria". Rick and Def Leppard never gave up.
I got an aching… an aching for some cowbell! Haha All jokes aside, I said it once and I’ll say it again..: best sounding kit on the internet! Banger track! 🤘🏻
I don't think I've ever seen "Photograph" played so aggressively. That was a lot of fun to watch, and probably a lot more fun to play. Honestly if I knew you were doing a Def Leppard song, I would have just assumed it was "Wasted". Interesting and great choice!
I think you did a great job! I am the type of drummer who looks to see if it played right? Lol! I have watched your covers before and like them a lot! Great timing and you hit hard as Fuck!!! As a drummer myself, your effort and hard work is a pleasure to watch!!!!
Been a subscriber for quite a while now. Brother, do you have a gig? With that talent you at least have to do studio work. If not, somebody's missing out!! ✌️❤️🤘
He's an amazing and inspirational drummer on every level. And prior to his accident he was one of the few traditional grip rock drummers. Started so damn young too.
Well..........I'd be a 10 years separated from Rick Allen Rick Allen 😂😂😂😂. For real, he's just 60. He got started that damn early. That's amazing to me.
Much, MUCH appreciated and thank you for the kind words! I'm answering comments in the Airport so it's a nice way to pass time by reading kind words 🙏🙏🙏🙏🤘🤘
Man, you uploaded this at a perfect time. This year hasn't been great, and I think today the realization of it hit really hard. I've enjoyed going though all your videos these past few months. Sometimes when i need to forget about what's sitting in my mind i like to throw on one of your videos and just jam out. Thanks for being such a hard hitting drummer and fantastic entertainer. Rock on my man
Dood, my joy is knowing I just can actually put a smile on anybody's face at this point. For real. I'm sorry the year is not cooperating. I mean that. Had one of those myself. But we got each other!
