Fundamentally my dream car. There are preferential changes I would make (color, NA engine, 6-speed manual, IRS) but this is a complete driver. Nicely done Roadster Shop.
Man, that looks amazing...and amazingly expensive. You'd think that everything would be assembled with non-locking hex nuts as it's all going to be blown apart for paint/powder coating.
Cool build, but please explain to me what is wrong with a 60s era Mopar big Block? my custom 68 Sweptline build runs a factory be albeit warmed up but factory mopar big block and I take it everywhere! And it sure didn’t cost what I’m confident this guy paid again wicked build nice work don’t give me wrong but there’s more than one way to put a truck together👍👍
I designed and built a offroad suspension almost identical to this 8years ago and competed with it throughout the united states. Competed in Top Truck in California in 2015 and came out the champion with that suspension. It had 16" of travel and that cantilever design is unreal how it reacts and creates almost no body roll. Look it up
It would be important to have a Survivor type chassis like those available for Camaro and Pontiac Trans Am so that the chassis can be installed without having to make modifications to the floor and structure of the '68-'73 Nova.
I disagree with Joe on a lot of things but this Black on Black matches my 2018 Camaro and if I had the money to get another it would be an updated 68 Camaro....
Dont want any computer controlling anything even hitting a rev on a downshift. ITs all part of the fun. Same wtih traction control basketball type throttle response etc
