Had the same problem need a sharper need a new cutting wheel for glass. Maybe taking a glass off the hinge would have helped to cut the glass entirly. I know it's kind of tight but with some hot water on hinge and some elbow grease.
I have no experience with the HW304b. I would have to assume this would work with their own products. It looks like the hose diameter would be the same.
