I am the migrant parent!!! Moved from Colombia to Mexico pursuing some career and ended up doing seo for the living. University teaches you humbleness (some teachers are full time assholes) and teaches you about being compromised and to have goals, I mean I do not recommend going into debt for paying a career, a lot o people I know have studied 10, 15 years and that didn’t guarantee money for them and their families.
I went to uni to please my mom who’s an immigrant. I had stop paying for my PBN due to this in 2015… Partied too much and failed out of uni 😂. Finally getting back to SEO after 8 years.

University . I went to university mainly to please my immigrant parents. In the back of my head every day longer I spend there I could feel it was a waste of time for me but I wasn't making enough online to justify it yet. During uni I sacrificed my social life to work on my business and made the revenue goals before the end. After I had it, I was finally comfortable sharing with my family what was the deal because I'm making more than even the end goal job of my degree. My only regret is all the damn debt I racked up for that piece of paper to please them. I can't even fully blame them because yes it was my final choice. If could advise my younger self I'd have him either start earlier so revenue thresholds were hit before 18, or have myself still start uni but work triple the amount I did to reach the number and leave uni with thousands less in debt.

Yeah, I run Google ads, and it's weird. When you scale, CPC and cost per conversion rise (which i get). But I tried removing conversion tracking after a few conversions and put the thank you page to one that doesn’t exist on the tag. Google thinks I'm not converting and lowers my CPC. My conversions actually went up. Google fckery.
We spend 250k a week on FB/IG traffic and 50k a week on radio which sends a ton of brand traffic. We have seen significant spikes on pages/sites we send this traffic to!
